Man. What a year.

When I uploaded that first video exactly one year ago, I genuinely had no idea where this was going. 675,000 views. 4,550 subscribers. I don't have the words for how much that means to me — so I'll just say: thank you. Every single one of you.

Here's something I've never shared on the channel. Almost 8 years ago — April 28th, 2018 — I had my 4th date with my wife in New York City — all the way from Germany. I couldn't have imagined back then that this city, and everything it represents in this game, would end up being such a huge part of my life. Funny how things connect.

I also want to say something directly to everyone who stuck around during the three months I went quiet last August. Our daughter was born, and I just couldn't be anywhere else. You waited. You didn't have to — and you did. That means more than I can say.

I know not everyone loves how I produce my videos — and I get it. But here's the honest reason: I work full time, and every hour I'm not working, I want to be with my baby girl. The only time I can record is at night, after everyone's asleep. That makes live voiceovers impossible — so I have a helping hand with that part. What I can tell you is that the builds, the testing, the tweaking, the scripting — that's all me, every night, putting in the hours to make sure what you get is actually worth your time.

I really do appreciate every single one of you. Every view, every like, every comment, every subscriber. I couldn't do this without you. ♥️
