Usapang piso fare at fuel surcharge. To book or not to book.

Well, kayo bahala pero para sa akin if not important yun trip mo, don't. But if for special occasion, go for it but make sure to also check other options.

Alam niyo ba na Fuel Surcharge may differs from airlines esp. if that airline is managed by different country? Kaya we must be intelligent in booking trips right now. Baka mas mura yun ibang airlines di ba? Baka konting dagdag lang ay full service carrier airlines na just like what I saw on trip na pag nag extra baggage ka kay Cebu Pacific ay mas mahal na siya kay Eva Air.

Consider niyo rin yun pupuntahan niyo if may magiging changes like sa Japan na magkakaroon na ng added "departure tax". Is that additional 1,000 to 3,000 yen is enough to book now.

The reason why I am telling this is we must be intelligent right now in our budget sa travels. That extra saving might help us not only sa magiging expenses sa travel kung hindi sa pang-araw araw natin na gastos.

Rising electric bill, grocery cost and etc. You know what I mean.

Pero kung dugong bughaw ka naman eh gawin mo kung ano ang gusto mo. Pera mo yan eh. 😂

P.S: Eh dugong bughaw ka pala, bakit ka nakatambay dito? 😅

Mas mahal pa yun fuel surcharge ngayon kaysa sa flight ko dati.

I am hoping na temporary lang ito. Ang tanong kailan ito bababa? I don't know din. 😥

Pero nag-iiba siya every kinsenas. (Sana pati sahod natin nag-aadjust di ba? 😅) Anyway, in my opinion there is a chance na bumaba ito to acceptable levels kaya if di naman ganon ka-importante, chill muna tayo sa pagbook ng flights kahit piso fare pa yan.

Piso fare ngayon pero not worth it na.

For reference, Php 9,200+ na ang presyo ng piso fare roundtrip going to Tokyo, Japan. Base fare ay piso pa din pero ang fuel surcharge ay nasa Php 6,000+

So kung di niyo makuha ang piso base fare, tataas pa yan at super not worth it na. Much better mag full-service carrier airline ka nalang.

Worth the hype nga ang Gyukatsu Motomura para sakin ah 😅 Nakakabusog at masarap din talaga. Solve na kami doon sa pinakamurang set nilang 2,410 yen.

Sa Gotemba Premium Outlets branch kami kumain at wala masyadong tao that time. Usually kasi laging may pila nito sa ibang branch kaya twice pa lang kami nakakakain, for someone na tamad pumila 😅

May pirate ship pala sa Japan?

This is part of the Hakone Sightseeing Cruise experience.

To board, it's 1,700 yen one way or 3,000 yen roundtrip. One way lang kami kasi nag-cable car kami going up to Owakudani as part of our tour with @litratosajapan .

If you want a chill Hakone day, going with a travel tour is a good option para ma-hit mo yung mga spots in one day including this pirate ship ride.

Pero if DIY trip kayo, no problem! Get the Hakone Free Pass para mas tipid, lalo na kung susuyurin niyo talaga Hakone.

Yan favorite spell ko sa Harry Potter 😅

Before kami mag-Japan this April, nag-binge watch kami and yes, first time ko sila mapanood!

Hindi talaga ako fan dati ng magic or movies in general. Spider-Man lang trip ko noon 😅 Kaya gets ko na ngayon fascination ni @jamimoyvlogs dito. Buti pinilit niya ako manood kasi ang ganda pala talaga. Feel ko tuloy may namiss-out ako nung kabataan ko.

Mas lalo ko tuloy na-enjoy yung Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo - The Making of Harry Potter. Fresh na fresh pa yung movies sa utak ko kaya sobrang in awe ako sa place.

Kaya kung Harry Potter fan ka, don't skip this!

Nagulat ako na nasa kanila yung pinakamurang ticket ng Keisei Skyliner. 😅

As a budget traveler, doon tayo sa best deal.

Start ng Golden Week yung uwi namin kaya nag-book ako last April 28 pa-Narita International Airport. Usually sa ticket counter lang ako bumibili kasi flexi kami sa oras, pero this time nag-compare ako (prices for 2 pax):

Klook: Php 1,596
AGODA: Php 1,435
Skyliner website: Php 1,773
Ticket Counter: ~Php 2,000

To be honest, di ako masyado nagbo-book ng activities sa AGODA 😅 pero this time sinubukan ko and smooth naman pala. May voucher agad at madaling i-redeem sa vending machine.

Yun lang! Kung saan makakamura, doon tayo. Loyal tayo sa budget natin. 😅
