Stay in Chiba Prefecture if Tokyo accommodations are getting too expensive especially if your airport is Narita.


We stayed in Narita during the latter part of our trip, and honestly, it was one of the wisest decisions we made last Autumn.


During Peak Autumn and Cherry Blossom season, hotel prices in Tokyo skyrocket. We stayed at Comfort Hotel Narita, just one train ride away from Narita Airport, and checked out only 3 hours before our flight. Super efficient and stress-free.

If you're into Kyoto vibes, I highly recommend staying in Narita. The area has that old-town charm, plus easy access to AEON malls, either by walking or a short bus ride. So shopping won't be an issue.

If you want more of a Tokyo vibe, stay in Chiba City instead. That's where we even bought our new camera, and honestly, it feels very similar to Tokyo but with cheaper hotels.

During Peak Autumn and Cherry Blossom, these two areas are great alternatives:
✔️ fewer tourists
✔️ lower hotel prices
✔️ more space and time for your OOTDs

The Olive Teee sa Jupiter St., The Belamy House

Dito kami nag-date night and highly recommended siya for couples. Solid yung servings for the price, sakto pang chill dinner na hindi bitin.

Tapos kapag nag-stay ka sa Belamy House, pwede mo rin piliin ang Olive Tree as one of the 3 breakfast options.👌

If gusto niyo ng hotel na tahimik, comfortable, at maganda ang neighborhood, this Tokyo hotel might be for you. Cypress Inn Hotel.

Honestly, zero expectations ako dito. Siya lang talaga yung pinakamurang decent option nung nag-check ako sa AGODA. May pay later at free cancellation, kaya ginawa ko siyang back-up hotel just in case may mas mura pa na trusted namin.

Pero ayun, wala talagang mas mura. 😂
So we booked it for around Php 4,000 per night for 2 persons and nagulat ako in a good way.

Comfortable yung room, quiet yung area, and kahit hindi siya central Tokyo, kumpleto lahat sa neighborhood. Bonus pa: may katabi kaming shop na sobrang mura ng food! As in halos dito na kami bumibili palagi.

POV: nasa Japan pa… pero nagbu-book na ng hotel para sa next Japan trip. 😅

Yes po, secured na ang hotels namin for the next few months. Dati 3 months in advance ako nagbu-book, pero ngayon mukhang kailangan more than 3 months ahead na talaga para mas makamura. Buti na lang may pay later option si @agoda.com .

Mt. Fuji from the summit of Mt. Takao!

Naghahanap lang kami kahapon ng peak autumn foliage pero grand prize ang binigay! si Fuji-san mismo! Grabe! 😍

Quick update sa foliage: for me, hindi pa peak sa Mt. Takao. Sa cable car at chairlift area, marami pang green na maple, pero makakakita na rin kayo ng pockets of red and yellow around the trails.
