Hindi ito April Fools joke ha! 😂 Totoo talaga na pwede kayong mag-book ng hotel sa Tokyo for around Php 2,000 per person per night with free breakfast, separate bathtub and shower, at maluwag pa ang room. Hindi yung typical na Japanese hotel!

Hotel name: APA Hotel Keikyu Kamata Ekimae (malapit sa station, convenient papuntang Haneda at central Tokyo).

Best Cherry Blossom Spot in Tokyo? Skip the mega-crowds and go where Somei-Yoshino originated! 🌸

Last 2024 sakura season, we stayed right in Komagome at JR East Hotel Mets Komagome and it is super worth it!

The neighborhood is chill: free parks bursting with cherry trees, Rikugien Garden nearby (with a weeping sakura magic!), even the cemetery avenues are stunning for peaceful hanami photos. Close to Komagome Station, easy access to everywhere, and way more relaxed than Ueno or Shinjuku Gyoen.

Real Talk: Hindi lahat ng pupunta sa Japan ng Spring ay makaka-experience ng Cherry Blossoms.

That is the lesson na natanggap namin on our 3rd and 4th time in Japan last 2023. We went to Kyoto early March then late May sa Fukuoka at bigong bigo kami to experience Cherry Blossoms.

This is why I am sharing this kasi katulad namin dati I thought Spring = Cherry Blossoms. Hindi pala ganon yun.

Usually sa mga sikat na lugar like Osaka and Tokyo, you can witness Cherry Blossoms around last week of March to first week ng April. At hindi pa guaranteed yun kasi minsan pwedeng mapaaga o malate depende sa weather and temperature.

At pag nag Full Bloom na around 1 week lang ay malalagas na sila, kaya don't feel bad if sobrang preparation ka para makita mo yun tapos pagpunta mo ay di mo na-experience ang Full Bloom.

Btw, we are approaching our 13th trip in Japan together this Spring and hopefully ma-exceed niya yun Cherry Blossoms na na-experience namin last year.

Alam niyo ba gumagana ang Food Panda App sa Taiwan?

Kwento ko lang. That evening ay malakas ang ulan at tinatamad na kami lumabas for dinner. Tapos napansin ko habang naglalakad kami that morning sa Kaohsiung ay nakita ko logo ng Food Panda kaya naisip kong i-check at yun nga gumagana!

Importante ito kasi most of the hotels here sa Taiwan ay meron free unli drinks sa lobby nila. Ewan ko lang pero naka-tatlong hotel na kami sa Taiwan, lahat sila may unli drinks at snacks sa lobby.

Kaya ayun, kumain nalang kami sa parang dining area. Grabe fried rice sa Taiwan talagang di ako magsasawa!

Tapos yun hotel nga pala ay Global Traveler Hotel na na-book namin sa AGODA at ang sarap ng unli drinks nila ah. No need na bumili lagi sa 711 for water, juice and coffee. Kaya sulit din ang hotel na ito kasi around Php 2,300 ko lang ito na-book for 2 na yun at malapit din siya sa Kaohsiung Main Station.

Yun lang. Pag tinamad at maganda ang hotel? Order nalang ng dinner online! 👍

Anyway, you can check and book directly sa apps nila Cebu Pacific, Trip, Klook, AGODA, Air Asia, and etc. for your hotel and flight bookings para iwas din tayo sa mga manloloko.

Don't let someone book for you kahit gaano kamura pa yan. Book for yourself or go to accredited travel and tour agencies nalang po. Pag nagka-problem kasi kayo kawawa.

Very easy lang naman yun mga apps to navigate and always check din yun details and conditions before clicking that payment button.

Tapos sa mga nagtatanong kung magkakaroon pa ng sale, yes po, magkakaroon pa talaga yan. For reference, check niyo yun last picture at makikita niyo na nakapagbook ako ng Php 88 base fare sale last April 22, 2025 for our recent Kaohsiung trip.

At may sale pa para sa local travels niyo, may piso pa sa Clark Airport and sa mga taga Cebu, ang dami din palang sale sa inyo! TARA! ☺️

Kapag may seat sale, remember base fare lang ang kayang i-sale ng mga airlines.

For example, sinabi nilang piso sale. Piso ang Base Fare non pero yun mga taxes and fees ay hindi kasama sa sale.

Maawa naman tayo sa kanila, isipin mo kung piso lang talaga yun, sasagutin pa nila yun fuel ng eroplano para makapag-travel tayo. Lalo at may kaguluhan ngayon, sobrang lugi na sila kapag tumaas ang oil sa mga susunod na araw di ba? Kaya mapapansin niyo mas mahal ang sale ngayon kaysa sa past years dahil sa Fuel Surcharge na yan.

Tapos may mga service charge pa sa bawat airport. Kaya nagiging 2k+ sa local trips roundtrip yun Piso Fare. Hope this helps clarify the issue. ☺️

And by the way, madami pang piso sale sa local trips. Sa international ay kaunti nalang. And as usual, wag manghinayang kung di makakuha ng sale. Madaming sale pa yan in the coming months!
