heeey everyone!! so i’ve been working on this spider web project and want to add a knitted dress underneath, on my last poll i had red, grey, black and white as options and red WON, but i have had suggestions for dark green and orange and decided to try them out as well!! since black and white were the least voted on i took them out of this poll🫠

HERE’s A SIGN TO TRY THAT THING YOU’VE BEEN PUTTING OFF!

if you’ve watch my Fashion Weeks knits reviews you know: i love “lace knit” and i always do it manually even though o have a lace carriage just because i don’t know how to use said carriage, well i really want to knit a relatively bit project with a lace stitch and i cannot justify the time i’ll take manually so yesterday i did it… i took out the literal dust from my lace car and tried to knit with it and surprise: i did it AND IT WAS EASY, well it was a lot easier that i was making it out to be!

i recorded the process because i thought it would be interesting but it’s too long for a short so you can watch it on my insta (linked here)

DESIGN WITH ME!
i’m about to start making a dress to wear tomorrow at christmas eve dinner and I’m not sure of the design i’m going for! i kinda want to look like a christmas tree😅
the yarn i have is like this eyelashy yarn in the sample but green! i kinda want to make the sleeves but not sure if i have enough yarn, that’s why i’m thinking of making the sleeves separately, like a shawl, also i would be able to wear just the sleeves more often then a whole long sleeve christmas tree looking dress… idk, let me know your opinions, but do it fast😩🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️

washing the Irish lace jacket for the first time!! scary but got to do it! i finished it in march and traveled with it to Europe, so it definitely needed a wash! hand washed with bar soap and used softer in it as well. it’s now drying in the rack🫡🥺😬🤞🏻
so was everything is alright🙌🏼🙌🏼

speaking of taking it to europe, i’m finishing up editing my europe trip video featuring some of my diys! it has been taking me longer then i thought but i think it’ll be a good one🥹

as promised: my moms version of the “taylor dress” and hers is the right length!!!! she took 10 days to make it, she pretty much only crochets after work!!🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️🏃🏼‍♀️‍➡️🧶

and do take notice to her styling!!!! she was thinking of the outfit even before making the dress!!

Good evening everyone!!

I’m making this post just to share where I’ve been when it comes to my videos and
why it has been a while since my last post😬

Some of you might be expecting the part 2 of my Irish crochet coat (since I told you guys that its fully done and I just need to edit the videos) and that is what I meant to post next, but as I was about to start editing part two, Taylor swift wore that fun crochet dress and I could not help myself and had to make one for myself! so making the dress and editing the video for it took me whole a week.

Since so many people were taking about this “Taylor Crochet Dress” and the dress has a relatively easy pattern I thought it would be the perfect opportunity for me to do something I’ve always wanted to do with my videos, that is a separate video tutorial for complete beginners with step by step + some *fun animated graphics* with the patterns.

So I started working on that straight away after I posted my vlog making the dress, However, as fun as making these *animated graphics* seem, they take a long time to make. And making these graphics + some other work stuff made me not able to finish a video for the past week.

Now enough time has passed that there are so many amazing tutorials up for this dress that it is kinda pointless to finish mine (I would also need at least two more days of graph making to have everything I need)
So I’m scraping that video ( which is kinda annoying for the amount of hours I put in it, but I’m sure I’ll use the graphs in some other video) and going back to my Irish crochet coat!!

All of that to say expect an Irish crochet learning and making the coat video in a couple of days, I plan on posting it Thursday, Sunday at the latest!
