I have delisted Episode 1 of ASIS for the forseeable future. The long video length, and references to a person who I do not desire to show praise or attention towards, have caused me to make this decision.
I haven't forgotten about Youtube, it's just that between RL and mental health keeping me from focusing on projects, I have been way the fuck behind on stuff.
I have a PBR video in the works that needs some touching up before I begin post-script work on it, and I do plan on eventually getting around to the Metaverse video.
I know I've kept you guys on the hook with that. I'm sorry for that.
But between lacking the drive to do things, RL stress and bullshit coming my way just as I start to settle down, I haven't been able to work on projects, and am a month behind even my newest schedule.
So.. with that out of the way:
My SL PBR video will be out by the end of the month. I don't care what it takes, I don't care if I end up burning the house down because of it, I will get it done. Due to not getting it done last month, my plans to get the Bay City-Sansara Road connection proposal to the lab will probably be postponed to early next year - I get this will piss off those who have been waiting for ages already, but I assure you it's for good reason - Timing the proposal, and getting our ducks in a row for it is the best course of action to see to it that the LDPW approves the plan.
This is because it's best to time the proposal _after_ the LDPW does a big project, so they have time to approve it, work on it, and then complete it. With SL21B next year, we could submit the week of January and if approved, it won't get turned down or delayed because of SL21B preparations.
As for the Metaverse History video, the production team for the series has been in better spots, nearly everyone involved has gone their seperate ways, save for Erik, who is currently busy working his ass off at CalArts for reasons that evade me at this point in time. Ergo, it's going to be a one-girl show for the time being, but I hope to at least get the first episode out by New Year's.
For those of you interested in non-SL stuff, I hate to say this but right now I don't really have anything for you. VTOL-wise I've been trying to get back into stuff on my own but currently I have no ideas for videos on that front, or on any other.
As for the NFS video sequel, I have the video footage still around here somewhere, and I'll probably get around to it in Winter 2024 (Jan/Feb). But for now, I ask for your patience.
Okay, so in other news than GMA going live today, some of you may be wondering where my Falken Friday video went.
For reasons unknown to me, a rights holder, Sony Music, had filed a takedown a while back, and while the video's not *gone*, It's forced private due to Youtube's copyright policies.
For reasons that should be.. blatantly apparent, this doesn't really make any sense as other videos seem to be allowed on Youtube in the X Friday format and don't seem to be a problem for SME, and yet a video about a plane apparently does raise an issue with them.
I have filed a dispute in where I have kindly asked SME to lift the block. Why they didn't just, oh, I don't know, MONETIZE IT, is beyond me. Every other ASCAP and BMI record label does so? Why does Columbia and SME think that they shouldn't be able to make money from my work, given I used *their* intellectual property?
I mean, I have never had an issue with copyright holders with legitimate, valid claims, claiming my work and just monetizing off of it. I've never had an issue with that, and never will. I feel it's a fair trade - you recieve profit from my video, and I get to keep it up for people who like it to see it.
Does SME not like money or something?
Just a thought.
That being said, I have appealed, and would preferably either have the claim removed, or have the video restored with copyright holder's monetization applied.
Again - I've never cared about making money from youtube. I live off a part-time job and SSDI. Any more income than what I get already risks me losing the latter, and that is non-negotiable. All I ask is that SME restore the video. Nothing more, nothing less.
For those of you who don't know, Good Morning Agni's resident veteran of the grid, Erik Mondrian, has lost their grandmother earlier today. She passed peacefully, surrounded by friends and family, whilst in a coma.
As a result of this sad and tragic news, and out of respect for Erik and his family at this time we'll be pushing GMA's airing to next week. The date will be published at a to be determined time, probably no later than next monday.

I will restore the video in the future.

Well damn, apparently I have posts now.
Working to get GMA started again sometime next month before Thanksgiving. We've got a lot to discuss.
