Hello, I am the video-editing maniac!

Making videos is something that I do ever since I had started this channel. Used to be scared by a lot of creepypastas when I was younger, most of the time by browsing the internet and suddenly finding a strange video that triggers your curiosity. With the rises of VibingLeaf and analog horror, I was inspired to become apart of the creepypasta community. I cook a lot and I'll make sure to provide some good food around here.

I'm currently on hiatus, but I've been quietly working on something big behind the scenes. Squidward's Suicide will start development, and it's shaping up to be my most ambitious project in a long time, powered by a massive team effort.

Next month, I'll be making my return and officially announcing the project. I'll also be opening up roles for animators, writers, video editors, and other creatives to help bring this vision to life.

If you're a talented artist, storyteller, or editor, feel free to send me a friend request on Discord ASAP. I'll be going online in the next few days to explain more about the project and start reviewing your portfolios. The most impressive creators will have a chance to get hired early, and possibly be part of future projects too.

More details will be revealed soon.

I'm probably not going to work on any projects this week. I've been pretty busy with a ton of other things, including homework, life, and focusing on my artistic skills. Until I get an organized schedule, I don't think I'll be uploading anything. I'm aware that it's been a short while since my last project, but as you may know, my main focus is not just on creating videopastas. I also have other interests, like becoming an animator, writer, and learning a ton of other things. I've been studying a lot these past few weeks, which is one of the reasons my break is still ongoing. The quality of my work will definitely improve when I come back, as I'm slowly but surely getting better at what I do. I hope you guys can understand, as most of the huge quality and effort I'll be putting in will go toward the Squidward’s Suicide video, which I'm aiming to make one of my best projects of all time. I’m definitely excited to work on it.

I thought it would be fun to draw a SpongeBob screenshot in the Season 1 style, so here it is

If you want some tips to create a re-take that's actually unique, read the text below:

One thing I've noticed with the recent videopastas is that there are so many other ways a re-take could be done, exploring different types of storytelling based on the original, but people tend to stick to simpler, overused concepts that lack originality. I did talk about this quite often, but honestly it's fine for more people to think outside the box.

• One of the best things you can do when making a videopasta is to create original concepts that are uniquely yours. While it's tempting to rework or mimic ideas from popular sources, simply copying an original concept without adding any new twists doesn't lead to something memorable. It's like copying someone's homework without changing anything, you won't get a higher grade. Try to expand on existing ideas or approach the same themes in a completely different way. For example, take any overused videopasta trope, and think about how you could twist it into something new.

• Inspiration can come from many sources, and not just from other videopastas. Watching horror movies, weird episodes from cartoons or even obscure pieces of horror media can bring new ideas. It’s about pulling inspiration from things you might not have considered before. Think about how shows like Courage the Cowardly Dog, Flapjack or Ren & Stimpy blend dark themes with strange animation. You can experiment with creating something equally unnerving, but unique to your own style.

• Don't forget to push your boundaries. Don’t be afraid to take risks. Every time I come across a videopasta that challenges what I expect, it stands out in the best way. These are the projects that I want to see more often on this community. Pushing the boundaries of your visuals, storytelling, or pacing can elevate your work significantly. Ultimately, the more time and effort you invest in your project, the better the results. This applies not only to your story but also to the production. Whether it's perfecting the pacing and animation, or making sure your sound design aligns perfectly with the visuals, every detail counts.

• Think of the difference between a rushed project and one that’s had time to breathe. The one that takes time to refine, experiment, and explore will almost always have that extra something that makes it stand out from the rest. Sound design is another area where you can really make your videopasta stand out. Start by exploring sound effect websites like Pixabay, and for more specific needs, try platforms like Audiogen or OptimizerAI. Don’t be afraid to experiment by layering different sounds or adjusting their pitch and speed. A subtle change in a sound effect can drastically alter the mood of a scene. For instance, a distant scream might become more terrifying if you lower its pitch and slow it down, or a faint whisper could feel far creepier if distorted.

And finally, for those who want a update on my projects, I should give a sneak peek of something I've been writing for the upcoming Squidward's Suicide take. While it won't be the next video released, production will begin in just a few months, and I’ve been refining some concepts with my own storytelling approach. I’m excited to share this, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on it once you get a look at what I’ve been planning! Stay tuned for more updates soon...

Important Notice: Please take the time to read this post thoroughly to understand the full context.

Discord servers are slowly starting to decline, and PigPig's server is a prime example of this. I never thought I’d be making this post, but the persistent issues over there have started to piss me off, and I've never seen a community fall apart so badly. If you care about being part of a positive and productive community, unfortunately, I don’t think this will be the place for you. The server is starting to become a toxic cycle, where everything is overshadowed by drama and negativity, and you'll only be met with more stress and disappointment.

I've been on this server since almost 2 years ago, and it started off great, only to gradually decline because people didn’t follow the rules and failed to mature. Many talented individuals I met back when I joined the community decided to leave in early 2024, due to the mods not taking action against the frequent raids that were happening, and a general lack of motivation to work on remakes. After that, the server steadily deteriorated, and I no longer felt comfortable staying. Knowing that people are still behaving the same way even after I left (disrespecting the mods and bullying minors) makes me more frustrated. It was the only active community related to these creepypastas on Discord, and it had real potential before everything fell apart.

These people seriously need to understand that cyberbullying a child, or anyone for that matter, is not just a joke. The actions of some individuals in the server, who have targeted a minor with disrespect and harassment, were obviously unnecessary. This kind of behavior only contributes to a toxic environment and is not something that should be tolerated. It shouldn’t take common sense to realize that treating others with kindness and respect is the bare minimum, especially in a community that should be supportive and creative. It honestly sucks to see such disregard for basic decency.

What makes it worse is that despite the mods putting in tremendous effort to fix the issues, people still refused to change. The constant disregard for the rules and lack of maturity ruined the mental health of the moderators. I was also an admin, and dealing with serious topics like self-harm in a server full of underage users started to affect me personally. No matter how hard I worked to maintain order, it felt like an endless cycle of problems, and in the end, it wasn’t worth the strain on my mental health, and I feel bad for the others who were affected.

It simply wasn’t worth staying in a space that only brought stress and frustration. I’m grateful to have met so many talented people, but I couldn’t handle all the arguments and drama. Being in the server became more frustrating than enjoyable, and that made it impossible to have meaningful interactions with others. I love you all, and I truly appreciate this community, but the arrival of toxic people is damaging our reputation. Seeing these things happen so frequently has been one of the main reasons my motivation to work on videos has been lower than usual, and I have a strong feeling that things will not change on that server, which made me decide to quit.

PigPig, I seriously hope that you and the moderators are taking steps to put an end to this issue. Use the time while the server is on timeout to plan ways to transform the community into a more positive, welcoming space, rather than one dominated by harassment.

This took me 2 days to complete, and I'm pretty satisfied with the results. Annoy Squidward Day was two days ago, and I wanted to create some art to celebrate, even if I'm late
