I've been struggling lately with extreme exhaustion and a sense of sadness that I think has been, in part, a delayed reaction to the emotional processing that went into rifling through all those long-unopened boxes of my former life and letting go of as much of it as possible.
The task is not complete, but I've had to call it quits for now and leave the rest of it for another time as I just can't bear to do it anymore right now.
I never expected the sense of grief and loss to hit me so badly. I didn't think it would disrupt my sense of peace and gratitude the way it did.
I need to get back to being here now - to my happy place.
So I locked up the storage shed, walked away and decided to focus my energy into my caravan and doing lots of little jobs that needed to get done before hitting the road again.
My farm sitting gig is now over.

Hello beautiful people!
For those of you asking; yes, I did make it the Rock n Roll dance and I really enjoyed getting all dressed up for the occasion and catching up with my friend Sue. I haven't posted any footage due to copyright issues with the music and also wasn't sure if the other people would be OK with it being published, so all you get is a pic of me on my way to the dance!

You guys are so amazing, thank you so much for all the hypes on my latest vlog. I had felt really nervous about posting that one as I really felt like my life was kinda boring (which I am totally loving, by the way!) and that I didn’t have much interesting to say. So I have to give a big shout out to my dear subscriber Chrissy. We’ve been chatting on the phone and I told her that all I had filmed last week was snippets of me doing my normal pottering around the van type stuff, and that I didn’t think it was very interesting and then read her what I had written that day in my journal, she said I should post that. And your comments and reactions were so lovely and totally blew away all my self doubts, so thank you so much for that. I love you! ❤️
A few of you have asked about how to give hypes and what it does so I’ve tried to create a demo in the pics below.
Basically you get a set amount of points to give to your favourite creators each week and YouTube creates a leaderboard of the top 100 videos in your country and it’s updated every 5 minutes. It helps boost smaller channels in the algorithm by showing these videos are popular with viewers and also exposes channels to new viewers who might scroll through the top 100 on the leaderboard looking for new content to watch. I do think I have gained extra subscribers just from appearing on the leaderboard, and that’s been super encouraging for my very non-professional, no fancy equipments, no epic drone shots or complicated editing.
My channel is just me, doing whatever it is I’m doing, raving on about how I’m feeling and filming and editing it all on my 5-year old phone and sharing it with you all with zero desire to gain fame or fortune from it.
I just want you to know I exist and hopefully connect with my tribe of fellow oddities.
I think I have achieved that! 😂
I will post an update video soon but I’ve been busy sorting out my storage shed and it’s a big job (and I will share some of that process with you too)
In the meantime, keep shining you beautiful souls and thank you so much for all you love and support.
I love you all so much, keep spreading that love and hope and faith and all the good things we need more of in this crazy world right now.

Life doesn't always turn out how you had planned and sometimes the best way to get through the hard times is by learning to just let things go.
I never expected to lose everything in my 50s...
Nobody does!
Sometimes life happens in ways you least expected, and despite your best efforts to overcome the challenges.
Living in my van for the past seven years has taught me so much. I have had a lot of time to ponder, to read, to sit in stillness and commune with nature. It has been a time of healing, growth, and resilience.
At the moment, I am really enjoying spending time alone farm sitting for my friends, doing country life things, along with the usual day to day tasks that come with living in a van.

Hey my beautiful people!
This week I celebrated my 7-year Caravanniversary. 🥳
I’m sorry I haven’t posted an update lately to let you know what’s been going on for me. The truth is that I found myself seriously considering quitting my YouTube channel due to a few reasons that I will go into in a vlog I will be posting this weekend.
I am OK. I just wanted you all to know that, but every now and then I need to really sit in my stillness and reevaluate my life’s path to make sure I am on the right track in my pursuit of inner peace and healing.

In this week's vlog, I share with you some of the challenges I deal with as a solo woman living in a van who chooses to share the reality of my life on YouTube.
I have always shown both the good and bad aspects of my life, and most of my viewers seem to appreciate that, but every now and then I get the kind of feedback that makes me seriously question myself.
In this video I talk about trying to heal my dog and myself from toxic mould exposure using natural remedies. I create and cook up a new zero carbs recipe in my tiny vintage caravan kitchen and go on an op shop excursion.
