I'm Jun, a true Cantonian currently living in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. I love cooking and am passionate about good food. The recipes I share are all from our everyday family meals, so they're really simple, home-style dishes. Naturally, being from Guangdong, most of what I make is Cantonese cuisine. If you're into Cantonese food too, you might want to give them a try. I hope everyone comes to love our Cantonese and Chinese dishes. If you want to learn more recipes and get detailed instructions, feel free to visit my website at thecantonesecook.com. I'm always open to feedback and conversation!
The Cantonese Cook
This Cantonese dish is a vegetable, a soup, and also a medicine; it has a sweet taste and helps to relieve coughs and moisten the lungs.

It was probably the largest Salt and Pepper Shrimp I've ever eaten and surprisingly affordable too! Can you believe it was only 288 RMB per 500 grams!Unbelievable!
