In 2022, we sold almost everything and traded city life for a slower, more intentional life in Alaska. What started as a leap of faith has become a full-on homestead journey rooted in family, faith, hard work, and freedom. Today was a long day. And when you step into the light, you’ll feel it… resistance from every direction. Darkness has never been comfortable with the light.

But let this encourage you: be bold anyway. Be courageous anyway. Even when it’s unpopular. Even when people misunderstand you, talk about you, or try to tear you down. You don’t answer to them.

We’re not called to blend in—we’re called to stand firm.

Don’t grow weary. Don’t shrink back.

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn.”
— Isaiah 54:17

That’s not just words—that’s God’s promise.
