Due to both the nature of this FGO event and my schedule this week, episodes may occasionally go up a couple hours late. But they'll definitely be up before the time gate hits!
Change of plans for tomorrow. Misaki can't make it, so I think I'm gonna stream a (casual) speedrun of Chrono Gear on Proud difficulty. Apparently the game is only about 3 hours if you skip cutscenes and don't go for collectables.
Misaki did a cover of Shikisai for FGO's 10th anniversary (delayed due to some unforeseen production issues), and I edited the video for it. Go check it out!
Things might be slow on the channel for a while. FGO is taking its sweet time with the next event, and there haven't been any new games I've been interested in. The Humongous Entertainment streams with Misaki will resume this weekend, but that's pretty much all I have planned.
In the meantime, I am continuing to put out clips over on VTubers Gone Binted. If you enjoyed my Chrono Gear playthrough, I definitely recommend checking out the clips I made of Kronii's own playthrough! www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
I'm sure most of you have heard this by now, but just in case, please be sure to turn off Restricted Mode in your Youtube settings. They've been letting their AI run rampant and hiding videos behind it without notifying the uploaders. I just tried turning it on to test, and even innocuous videos on my channel like yesterday's episode of FGO and nearly all of my live streams (including the Humongous Entertainment games one) are getting hit.
And in case anyone's wondering, I chose Summer Helena for my free 4-star for the 3000 day campaign in FGO. I'll try and tack her profile onto the next miscellaneous episode, whenever that may be.
I said would make an announcement video for this, but I kinda ran out of time, lol. My first video on the new VTuber clip channel is live! Hoping to make about 3 clips a week for the time being.
In other news, I'm also making progress on the next FGO obscure trivia video. Hoping to have that out sometime next week!
I'm still in the process of setting it up, but I'm happy to announce that I AM starting a VTuber clip channel! Tentatively, it will focus on Hololive EN and some indies (big ones like Mint and Nyanners, as well as some of my friends like Misaki and Alm). Just note that this is a separate project from the main channel. I will continue my gaming content here as I always have. If you don't care about VTuber clips, you can just ignore it. I won't be offended, lol.
I'll make a proper announcement video when I've published my first clip (could be a few days or a couple weeks), but here's the channel link in the meantime. youtube.com/@VTubersGoneBinted
Bad news: I know this may disappoint a lot of you, but I'm having second thoughts about playing Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter the whole way through. I'm getting pretty frustrated with how hard the mini-bosses are even though I'm still in the prologue. While I'm sure there's something I'm doing wrong, the game isn't giving me very good feedback on what that could be (there are WAY too many battle mechanics to keep track of). I don't want to be banging my head against the wall for every major fight, nor do I want to turn it down to easy mode and steamroll everything. I WILL finish the demo for sure (apparently I'm about halfway). But there's a decent chance I don't buy the full game when it's released.
Good news: I'm close to wrapping up my fact hunt for the next FGO obscure trivia video! My hope is to get it recorded next weekend and make the video during the following week.
And while I have not committed to this idea yet, I'm considering starting up a VTuber clip channel. The main goals will be to hone my editing skills, expand my portfolio, and possibly attract the attention of some streamers who may be in need of my services. This wouldn't have any major impact on the main channel. FGO is always my top priority when it comes to Youtube, and I still want to play other games on the side when the opportunity arises.
