You know, there are little things that aren’t really important but for some weird reason, you always remember it. Well, I remember the first book that I took as a kid in a library. It had a green cover, and a kid on it, in a hat with a magnifying glass. He was such an adventurous kid and was always exploring something. And I so remember that feeling of excitement and joy while reading it.
And you might think that it’s just another book for children, there are hundreds of them. But that exact book made me feel in a way I never felt before. I’ve been looking for that feeling since then. That feeling became a purpose.
They say you never forget your first. And I so clearly remember mine: 4 pm, blue backpack, Theodore Dreiser, beautiful Ukrainian landscapes, and the road. I finally found it. That feeling of adventure, excitement, freedom, exploring, curiosity, and newness. Something that you can only feel.
I was driven by it my whole life and it took me 900 km to finally find it. But most importantly, it took me 5500 km and 7 years to realize that it was always much closer than I thought.
People have 5 senses to experience the gift they’ve been given - life, but it takes only one thing to take all of that for granted - the brain.
Our whole lives we are chasing the illusion of perfection to finally get that feeling of stability and joyful excitement, missing out on what is really important: life and us as we are right here and right now.
When you accept that nothing and nobody is permanent and perfect, you’ll learn how to find the beauty and value in every crack and irregularity in life.
And then you will be able to find that joyful excitement in everything that surrounds you: a hidden river in the mountains, a flying bird, a morning cup of coffee, and every walk you take.

You know, recently one of my favorite rituals is to wake up, do 2-3 min exercises, breathe, make a cup of coffee, and watch a podcast.
This week I started to watch a podcast about perfume, and honestly, I never expected that it was going to be so exciting!
It reminded me of old times when I was going to the cinema to watch documentaries about art and fashion.
And it also reminded me that we see the world in such a limited way.
Yes, it’s easier to divide everything into black and white, good and bad, beautiful and not. But at the same time, by doing that we limit our perception and understanding of the world, and obviously, can’t see things clearly.
When you look at a piece of art, there is always a message for you to notice through the form, color, characters, and time when it was created.
When you smell a perfume, there is a unique combination of various individual notes that helps you to understand its story, a combination that stirs your emotions and imagination.
And when you look at any person, there is a unique individual with his/ her feelings, thoughts, knowledge, interests, experiences, emotions, and story.
The way we see and judge things is based on what we know and believe. And the only way to broaden the perception is to expand your knowledge and experience.
And for sure some of you might ask why you need it in the first place.
Well, first of all, as Michelangelo said: “Your greatness is measured by your horizons”.
And secondly, having your heart and mind open brings more freedom, enjoyment, understanding, and love into your life.

It was 5 am. The world was just starting to wake up and I already hit the road. We stopped at a random gas station to grab a cup of coffee. Sleepy and tired I was sitting in silence enjoying fresh and cold morning air, empty roads, and my first sip of coffee.
We arrived at a beautiful hotel next to the beach, I took a few deep breaths and looked around.
Above me, a big black bird was screaming like a siren. A bit further, a few people were walking along the beach. To the right of me, the rising sun started to cover everything around me in warm golden light. And of course, the sea: so powerful and quiet with its gentle waves crawling to the shore. The life was unfolding at its own speed in front of me. What a beautiful and peaceful view.
There was nothing special going on at that moment, but it felt pretty special to me.
Most of the time, life isn’t about how you live it, but rather how you feel it. That’s the true beauty of life.

Today I woke up early in the morning and as always was watching birds with my cat, and realized that I so can’t wait to go for a run.
I can’t wait to put my fav music and smell fresh grass from farms around. I always wonder if there are new fruits growing, or if I will catch those blue birds on my camera so I can finally show you how beautiful they are.
I just love going out there, taking a deep inhale, and letting myself wonder.
Because this is what we lose when we grow up. Wondering.
We think that we know everything. But we are mistaken.
There is so much more that you can learn, see, and enjoy. There are so many things that can make you happy. Just go out there, take a deep inhale and pay attention.
Notice sounds, colors, movement, feelings and continue breathing. Because breathing is exactly what helps you to wonder.
Only when water is steady, you can see the reflection. Only when your mind is calm and peaceful, you can see things clearly and truly notice. And to make your mind steady, you need to breathe.
When you have enough clarity and attention, then every moment can be a moment of joy.
True fulfillment doesn’t come when you achieve all your goals, but it comes when you learn how to live deeply in the present moment. When you feel satisfaction in every step, every meal, every conversation, every sunrise, and every breath.

Practice to love and accept yourself⬇️
• Write down negative things that you usually have on your mind about yourself (I am fat, I didn’t do enough, I’m not beautiful, I’m stupid etc.)
• Find a comfortable seated position, close your eyes, breathe deeply and slowly to relax, and imagine a big warm light ball floating above you
• Now imagine this ball slowly floating down to your body. Feel how it’s softly touching you, giving you its warmth and energy, taking all your negative thoughts, blocks, and fears. Feel how your mind becomes clear and body feels lighter
• Now see how the ball goes down to your feet and disappears into the ground with all negativity, leaving you all relaxed and peaceful
• In this state of mind, think about things you wanna be and wanna feel daily (I am beautiful, I am enough, I am smart, I am courageous, I am strong etc.)
• Thank yourself for the practice, hug yourself, and finish🫶
