Look at this image. The focus, the kit, and the truth. While you’re busy getting angry at a flag, we’re busy looking at the actual biology of the game.

Forget the Height distraction. Let's talk about the Oxygen:

The Engine: Within months of HRT, a trans woman’s haemoglobin (the red blood cells that carry oxygen) drops to the female typical range.

The Handicap: Obviously trans women are smaller, the same or bigger athletes than cis women. The only difference is when an athlete has a larger frame but female level oxygen, they aren't dominating. They are hauling a heavy chassis with a smaller engine. It’s like playing the full 90 minutes in a weighted vest.


The Pitch vs. The Sidelines: You see a threat to "fairness." We see an athlete working twice as hard to overcome a biological anchor just to stay in the race.

The loudest critics are the ones who never even watched a women’s match until they found someone to exclude. You don't love the sport; you just love the gatekeeping.

We’re on the pitch. You’re on the sidelines. The data is in the books.

Trans athletes are the future of sport. 🏳️‍⚧️✨

The science of elite performance is about celebrating the outlier. We don't ban basketball players for being seven feet tall. We don't ban swimmers for having double jointed ankles or massive wingspans. We call those genetic gifts.

Medical data shows that, after two years of hormone replacement therapy, trans women have muscle mass and haemoglobin levels in line with cisgender women. At that point, any remaining height or reach is simply a biological variation. It is no different to a cisgender athlete being born with longer legs or larger lungs.

The funniest part is seeing men who never supported the gender pay gap or girls' grassroots funding suddenly become experts on fairness. If you only care about biological advantages when they involve trans women, then you don't care about women's sport. You just care about exclusion. 💅

The world is moving forward. You can either read the data or stay mad on the sidelines.

The science of safeguarding has officially become the law. 🇮🇪✨

It’s fascinating to watch grown adults have a full emotional meltdown over a child’s name. In Ireland, schools are now required to use a student’s preferred name and pronouns because we finally recognise that child safety is more important than an adult's ego.

If you find it ‘confusing’ to remember a name, that isn't a political statement. It’s just a cognitive struggle. Most of us managed to learn the names of all the characters in Game of Thrones; I’m sure you can manage one teenager.

The law doesn't care about your ‘feelings’ on grammar. It cares about children not being bullied. 💅
