I'm no expert, but I saw 3 issues with the situation, 2 of which were worthy of giving the pen. (The initial ball to hand, the rolling down of the ball but movement of arm/second touch to flick ball away and the tug).Not just an accidental handball either, he full on handled it and quite literally changed the direction of the ball with his arm's motion. A handball, a shoulder and a shirt pull, suddenly all 3 of these are no longer fouls

Guys, we have reached the milestone of 1000 subscribers today. Beyond the numbers, it also means that we have succeeded in building a community of 1000 like minded City fans, who are absolutely passionate about the club. Each one of you in the community have played a huge part in where we have reached today. We have struck with each other through the highs and lows of the club and supported each other. I feel the best thing about our community is that we have never allowed toxicity to seep through. Its always been great fun having those discussions and feeling the thrill of the matches together in our watchalongs. Yesterday, Lucas Paqueta got a Standing ovation from the Liverpool fans at Anfield. It was after a very long time that an opposition player got a standing ovation at Anfield. Paqueta was just unreal. He was superb on and off the ball. His counter pressing ability, vision and defensive workrate are just superb. Imagine him and De Bruyne playing together and giving those unreal through balls for Haaland and Doku. Hope we get him in January.

This is why Gvardiol is already an Elite level center back. This was a 3 v1 for Gvardiol yesterday. It was almost an impossible situation to deal with. Gvardiol realizes that Ruben Dias is coming from the left for support. So, he leans towards the right and thus traps Wilson to move to the left side. Now, after Wilson moves to the left hand side, his passing options are cut off from the remaining two Newcastle players. Now, Gvardiol cleverly puts in a tackle and gets the ball. This is one of the best piece of defensive action you will see throughout the season. What a player we have got!!
