Hey all! So it's happening. I'm in the process of relaunching the channel!

I've purchased some new up to date equipment, got my workstation up and running, and I produced a YouTube short to dust off my editing skills. I am hoping to start with some Hades 2 content to get the ball rolling, and you will probably see me pop up live while I am playing through the early access and get an idea of what I want to talk about.

In the mean time I've also be working to get my girlfriend a web presence as well. She's started streaming a wholesome Fortnite channel (with lots of content with my son Max) on Twitch that will be launching on YouTube in the coming days as well. Feel free to check her out if you'd like and give her a follow. We'll be working to produce some clip videos for her channels that should be out soon as well.

Hello friends. It's been a weird couple of years. COVID saw the return of this channel, and during that time I did some of the work I am most proud of. However, shortly after I stopped uploading my personal life saw a major shift. My marriage (built on a two decade relationship) failed. I've spent the last year rebuilding who I am. I lost a ton of weight, took up cycling, studied Buddhism, Taoism, Stoicism, and found a contentment with life I've been missing for a long time.

As the dust has settled, I am considering returning in a sustainable way. Perhaps fewer videos, but doing what I loved talking about and playing indie games.

Ready for more?

I unfortunately need to announce a bit of a hiatus for at least a little while. The channel, while very fun to work on, demands a huge amount of time to stay competitive with similar channels. This has resulted in me losing focus on some other things in life that I typically view as more important (family, job, mental health, sleep). I need to take a break, reset, and hopefully come up with a strategy for how to produce high quality content consistently that fits with the rest of my life. I'll be back =)

New Rogue Legacy 2 caught me off guard and is coming tomorrow. I'm excited to make some new RL2 content. Hopefully we get a clearly idea of formal release window soon.

A game I'm really interested in covering is coming out on my birthday this Friday (I'm 40, and old AF, and a Dad etc etc) so I think I'm going to release a batch of videos for it. Indie titles are also getting a little thin right now and the last couple reviews landed with a thud so I'm going to experiment a bit.

The response to my new content approach has honestly been overwhelming and i have to admit, it's a little intimidating. The old record for new subscribers in a single day wasn't just beat, it was doubled. DOUBLED.
