The music and visuals are generated with the help of AI. However, the development of the both the sound and visuals is led by a human, with carefully planned and researched inputs as well as meticulous post-production edits and adjustments. It's all a part of what this channel is about: To explore and understand better the capabilities and potential of AI as a tool to support human creativity.

This is a big departure from previous "Indian Jazz" mixes. The direction here was to create a much more blended sound, giving equal weight to traditional Indian raga and modern improvisational jazz. Clarinet doesn't get the attention in instrumental jazz that it deserves. The Club has been guilty of not giving enough of the limelight. This mix was built around a clarinet lead, and the clarinet delivered the atmosphere that demanded the mix graphic. Clarinet pairs nicely with some surprising instruments, and that stands out here. This mix attempted to draw out some authentic characteristics of modal jazz. Miles invented it, so trumpet had to lead it. With frequent appearances from tenor sax, and upright bass assuming more melodic responsibilities, some of that did come through. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks for listening.

A return to Manhattan, but this is no ambient jazz. This mix represents a new approach to how the music is produced (I touch on this more in the members-only workshop). It involved a complete reshuffle of how melody and improvisation are developed, with a priority on playing styles. I kept the ensemble small, and worked on getting a lot out of each instrument. The concept behind this really was an imaginary art house film, one that's all moody with long almost motionless shots of not much happening and where few words are spoken.
