I'm currently studying for an exam, so I might not be as consistent in January. HOWEVER, I will be putting up useful announcements on here related to studying medicine in Poland.

Announcement 1: Registration to study medicine, dentistry, premed at The Medical University of Łodz in Poland will begin on JANUARY 15TH.


(typically, registrations for most polish universities start around the end of january to march... so keep an eye out ! )

✨ This was a very emotional post for me to make, but in order to truly connect with you, I also need to be vulnerable. This is me. This is my story.

I never thought my journey to medicine would take me from Ireland all the way to Poland. It wasn’t the path I expected, and it certainly wasn’t easy — but it’s real, it’s mine, and it’s brought me closer to my dream of becoming a doctor.

For anyone in Ireland or the UK who feels like the door to medicine has closed — I want you to know there are other paths. Your dream isn’t over. 🌍💙

This summer, I successfully completed 𝟮𝟳𝟬 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝘀 at 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹, 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗱𝗮, 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 — exceeding the 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟱𝟬 — and I am now recognised as an 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁.

A huge thank you to 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆 (𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘆), 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 (𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝟭𝟴+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 for their patience, guidance, and encouragement throughout this journey. And of course, to the 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 who allowed me to learn and refine this skill through them.

From 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘀, “𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲” 𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝘃𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘀 — I spent the summer palpating, practicing, and perfecting. What struck me most was how many patients and staff shared that they often 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀. That motivated me even more to build competence in this crucial skill.

𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 — 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻. I hope to use this experience to empower the 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 to approach phlebotomy with the same dedication.

𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 and excited to carry this skill with me throughout my medical career. 💉✨

Guess who I’m with! ✨

Yesterday, I had the privilege of being in a room filled with some of our generation’s greatest role models:

— and it honestly made my tiny little Gen Z heart swell 🥹💖

If there’s one message that was constantly echoed by the panelists — and one I truly don’t think we have nearly enough of — it’s the Audacity.

💡 Being audacious was a recurring theme every single speaker emphasized.

If you choose to be daring.
If you choose to take that leap.
If you choose to jump in head first...

👉 That’s the gap between you and your chosen destination.

After the conference, I left feeling like I could do anything. 🌍✨

So, to anyone out there with a big dream that feels way out of reach — remember this:
“A man who thinks he can and a man who thinks he can’t are both right.”

So, I'm about to go into my penultimate year of med school – 5th year.

But before i do , I've decided to reflect on my 4th year , specifically my "White Coat Ceremony."

There was a time where I didn't think i could get into medicine, then there was a time where i was battling imposter syndrome whilst in medicine, then there was a time where i failed histology and only passed on the 2nd retake.

It's funny because, to me, those milestones felt like failures and rejections, something to be hidden and never seen, but looking back, it was pivotal.

I had to feel like I did not belong. I had to feel like i was weathering a storm to be who I am now.

—A woman in medicine despite it all.

Those turning points in my life back then led me to pass both my pharmacology and pathology exams first take ...with a grade that was well above average and beyond my wildest expectations for myself.

But I did it !

I wrote and presented a poem on my ceremony titled — "Here we stand."

It was a message inspired by William Ernest Henleys , "invictus" meaning "Conqueror."

I reflected on how, despite my feelings of inadequacy at the time, I was still one of only 3 out of 12 of my first-year groupmates who were able to walk the stage at the White Coat Ceremony.


My message to you today is this : perhaps the failures, the rejections, the challenges, and the feelings of inadequacy are all for a reason.

Perhaps you're the rose that grows from concrete — a nod to Tupac Shakur's iconic metaphor, symbolizing resilience, beauty, and strength in the harshest conditions

Hi All ! So i recently turned 22 and I celebrated with all my friends and family.

( p.s the theme was " pretty in pink".. everyone slayed )

As I blew out my candles, my wish was to be surrounded by all the people I loved and all the people who loved me back !

Turns out I was already living in it !

I'm so grateful for everyone who's made my life worth living up until this point and I hope to continuously make a positive impact on the lives of others.

It's exam season at the Medical university now and I'm lowley freaking out because I've just hit 110 followers on YouTube but I'm not able to be as active as I would like for you guys !

Nevertheless, in a few short weeks, I will be back on track !
