Yeah. I'm that guy who appears on EQD from time to time. Not gonna use this account for much except spotting newer MLP content (usually brony music) which deserve way more views/support, so best to ask me stuff on EQD instead. /)

but yeah I'll take this opportunity to say that any more videos aren't probably gonna happen for the near future ;-; Turns out irl work is very busy. I'm still somewhat active tho, like if you leave comments and want me to reply I'll still do that. Just can't make stuff for a long while :X

A lot of people are posting their tributes today, and I was supposed to as well but things didn't work out :'v
I'll try very hard to get it done for the MLP Finale anniversary in two days but even I'm not sure if I can finish it by then.
(Totally not making this post to pressure myself to actually finish it lol)

But at least now it won't look super rushed like it does right now

There's been a slew of pony stuff being hit by COPPA and a few channels deciding to close, Duo Cartoonist being one of the most recent ones. Unfortunately some of the videos on this channel have been affected too but I've decided to leave them as being "Made for Kids" for now. Will see how it plays out with other channels first. Will not delete them of course!
Again a reminder to save your favourite pony stuff! A few days ago someone gave an initial estimate that roughly 22% of videos featured on Equestria Daily have been affected!

Hello and please read! I wanted to make a longer post about this but I'm currently studying for exams and will save it for later. It'll probably be a bit too late by then though, hence this post for now.
TL;DR: In regards to the new COPPA policy about to be enforced by YouTube, I won't be deleting my channel. I've neither set it as "Made for kids" nor "Not made for kids", but to review this individually for each video. My plan is to let YouTube decide when the day comes and go with that.
Some videos definitely won't make it, but hopefully some of the rest do. A couple of them have already been flagged as such, and I won't try to fight those as that will probably draw attention to the channel and risk the other videos.
If the channel gets deleted, most of my stuff has been saved here: www.theponyarchive.com/archive/youtube/Squeaky_Bel…. It's a bit messy, but at least it's there.
I encourage pony fans to save their favourite videos if they know that they're in danger of removal. The community has pulled through well over the years, but it's always good to be prepared!
