Final match of the season. We needed at least a draw to get promoted. Our opponent was undefeated top of the table, favorites to win.

90 minutes of football.
It’s 1-1.
Last play of the game…

They send in one last cross. Their striker volleys it and it hits the inside of our post and the goes towards the other goal post but not in our goal…

Final whistle blows.

We’re promoted.

Since that day, the team visits it weekly to say thank you.

Football is a game of inches.
And sometimes, it’s a game of centimeters.

We got PROMOTED in our 1st ever year of being a pro football club in Dubai.

“Al Qabila FC’s Unbelievable First Season”

⚽ Started from Scratch:

We set out to build a football club in just 365 days.

And guess what? We did it.

From +500,000,000 views on social media to then securing our club license, the journey was a rollercoaster.

We brought in Steven Taylor, former Premier League player, as our head coach.

We signed Papiss Cissé, former Newcastle United star, he ended up scoring 17 goals for us.

Through our World Tour trials, we scouted talent from across the globe to build a diverse team.

Against all odds, we secured promotion in our inaugural season.

Hard work, dedication, and belief in our vision made this possible.

But we’re just getting started.

UAE Second Division, here we come. 🤝
