Super excited to see this article come out, was surreal to have the BBC reach out to me for an interview about RuneScape, the culture surrounding the game, and how it's survived for 25 Years (and counting!)
I also got to tell the the story of how I met my wife, Anna :)
What an incredible way to start the year. I Have a feeling it's going to be a huge year for RuneScape.
RuneScape just put out a poll for anyone with a RuneScape or OSRS account to vote to remove predatory garbage microtransactions from RuneScape. This includes Treasure hunter, and so much more.
In addition, there's a pledge at 100k votes to dedicate time to improving the CORE game, for all players which is extremely needed and important.

We met through my Twitch community, and got to know each other by playing RuneScape together. We started with Duo Solak, and then progressed to Duo Raids, Duo Angel of Death, and even Duo Hardmode Vorago. Fast forward a couple years, and now I get to call her my Duo partner for life.

Hey Everyone, an update on Today's Upload (PvM Nuzlocke Challenge) that I took down. I'm making this post because it's taking longer to fix than anticipated, and I don't want anyone confused about seeing a video earlier today and not being able to find it!
Shortly after posting I noticed the framerate was 24 instead of 60, and there were sections with skipping and lag, especially in sections that were slowed down (like the introduction).
I know a lot of people wouldn't have noticed, but myself and my team put a ton of time into the video, and it didn't sit right with me to leave it up in that state.
I re-rendered it in 60fps, and reuploaded it (unlisted) to check it, and was surprised to see that despite being 60fps, it was still stuttering in the exact same way. Instead of matching the framerate (60) to the footage (also 60), it was taking the bad framerate (24) and just duplicating each frame, to get to 60. This is fixable, but it's going to take a bit more time than anticipated.
I wanted to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience/annoyance, and I hope the wait will be worth it. This is one of the best, longest videos on the channel and I'll be posting it as soon as it's ready.
Hey everyone, I wanted to respond to those who are bringing up the unfair advantage I could have in the Necromancy race as someone who was given the opportunity to playtest the skill and provide feedback on it.
As I was a playtester, I did have earlier access to the skill than anyone else, and while I wholeheartedly believe that all of the information I saw has been properly communicated and made publicly available, I completely agree that seeing how the skill works on paper is different from being able to actually play it early, and although not tangible or quantifiable, it is a slight advantage.
As I said in my video today, the thing I care about the most is having fun, and making the best streams and videos I possibly can with this new skill. I don't want the negativity of the race to get in the way of that.
Because of this, I wanted to clarify that if I end up in first place towards the end of the race, I will allow the people behind me to pass me before I complete 200m, regardless of if they attended the playtest. This was never about Rank 1, and I don't want my competitors or anyone else to feel slighted by me taking part in it.
If it's any further consolation, I'm also not 5.6b exp, so I won't be competing in the overall leaderboards at all.
With that out of the way, happy necromancy everyone!! This is going to be so much fun!

Hey guys, I've been avoiding posting this for a while but I want to be as open and honest as I can be with you all. I love creating videos but I've had a difficult time with consistency, and trying to keep up. I never wanted to be that YouTuber that posted a video and then disappeared for a month or more, but what this channel has become for the last little bit, and I want to explain what's been going on with me, and why that's been the case.
When I started this channel I had a passion for making videos, they were high volume, low effort videos that I loved to make and post almost every day. As my channel and my career has evolved I've switched to more produced, edited, and cinematic content and I've loved every second of it, but there's a certain amount of pressure to that sort of content. There's an expectation of a level of quality, and for a long time I've felt like I couldn't keep up with the demand of quality or quantity. Trying to create something I'm proud of while feeling that pressure to not let you guys down hasn't been good for my mental health, or for the quality of the videos on the channel.
I've been trying the same thing for years and it hasn't gotten any easier, and I'm making this post to let you guys know that I will be taking a break from YouTube for the next little while. I don't know exactly how long I'll be away, but if I could guess it would be 3 or 4 weeks. What I do know is I won't be back unless I'm 100% ready. This wasn't plan A or even plan B, but I feel it's the only way for me to get to a place where I'm able to produce new content that's good for you guys and for me.
I love you guys, thank you all so much for being a part of this journey. I don't know exactly when I'll be back but I want to get back to making the content you guys want to see, in a way that's healthy for me too. I know some of you won't be happy seeing this, and I totally understand, but I'm doing the best I can and I want to keep you all in the loop.
I hope you're all safe, and I'll see you when I see you
