When Jackie Guthrie left this world in 2012 she left millions of YouTube viewers enjoying the videos she'd uploaded of her family and friends. We are now attempting to restore her work that spanned over four decades. As the rights and restrictions have changed, her creativity has frequently run into legal brick walls - Although all she really wanted to do was to share the joy she'd captured of people she knew and loved. Little by little we - her family - are making those videos available again to everyone throughout the world. In addition we are continuing to add our own videos to her vast collection. We hope you will continue to enjoy it all in the spirit in which it was created.

In almost every concert they did together, Arlo and Pete opened with the song “Midnight Special”, first recorded by Lead Belly. On August 8, 1993, the pair performed at Wolftrap, accompanied by Arlo’s children, Abe, Cathy, Annie, and Sarah Lee, as well as Abe's band, Xavier. Pete's grandson, Tao Rodriquez-Seeger, also joined them. The event was captured in a live video, with the audio sourced from the double CD, More Together Again.

Thank you @eileenprose8472 for posting this! Arlo's son Abe is playing drums on "Massachusetts". He borrowed Terry A La Berry's drum set for the filming. Abe went on to play keyboards with his dad for nearly 40 years after this.

This week, I (Jacklyn) chose "Highway In The Wind" as our Song of the Week, for my 24th birthday! It's hard to believe, I know! This song holds a special memory for me: a video from when I was about 2 years old, attempting to escape my mother (Annie) and run out onto the stage at Epcot, while my grandfather played this very song. My mom did (unfortunately) catch me that time, but I was quite the runner in my youth, and made many more attempts! I hope you enjoy this week's song as much as I enjoy sharing this memory with you.
