Taraweeh prayers as part of a Dawah event in Times Square, USA New York 25/03/2023
* A special thanks to the city of New York for facilitating and granting the relevant permits and permission to host such an event in the heart of the city.
Last night Taraweeh prayer was held at the heart of New York City in Times Square, Manhattan, NYC. This is the city “That Never Sleeps”.
“An extraordinary Dawah event that attracted thousands of visitors. The activities in downtown NYC began with breaking the fast, Maghrib prayer, lectures, and recitations of the Qur'an. The event was a beautiful showcase of the diversity and unity of New York City. it helped to promote a positive image of Muslims and Islam to the wider community. It is through such events that we can break down barriers and foster greater understanding and tolerance between people of different faiths and backgrounds”
