Happy release day to us! Our new album “Moments” is out today. It’s been a wild journey in making this one and we couldn’t be happier to finally share it with you.

From assembling a treasure trove of hundreds of song ideas during lockdown, to recording with my best mates in tropical paradise in the Byron Bay hinterland, to collaborating with ‪@katebollinger‬ in LA and working one of my heroes 'Evil' Graham Lee to the tail end of winter in Gothenburg, Sweden, mixing with Christoffer Berg, it’s been a trip! I everyone enjoys listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it..

Our new single “Belong To You” is out today. It was one of the first tracks I wrote for our new album. The song has a wistful romantic quality to it so we thought it could be cool to do the song as a duet to emphasise that. I could almost imagine it as some kind of sci-fi country love song.

We haven’t worked with outside performers too many times in the past. But it was a real treat to work with Kate Bollinger and ‘Evil’ Graham Lee who come from such different places musically, but complimented each other perfectly on this song.

We’re excited to finally share some big news — our new album 'Moments' is coming out September 5.

The album continues the futuristic sound palette developed from our last album and transposes it to larger spaces, bigger sounds and bolder rhythms. It emerges out of the cold and back onto the dance floor. Hey there, I wanted to let you know about an album I made from two remote recording trips I did with buddies, Mike Gamwell (Knightlife) and Mirko Vogel, to coastal Sweden and the highlands in Scotland. For fun, we decided to work on music during our trips, inspired by our surroundings. It was never meant to turn into anything in particular, but at the end of it all, we realised we’d made an album. The project is called Hypernatural, and this is our debut, self-titled album. The album is dedicated to the glorious ancient waters of the Scottish Highlands that helped power our laptops to finish these recordings. I hope you enjoy. x —Dan.
