On this Giving Tuesday, I want to highlight that giving is an investment. When we give, we give to something or someone, and we give for a specific outcome.
When you give to Fair America, that outcome is the end of discrimination faced by international students and high-skilled workers. This isn’t just about addressing what’s wrong—it’s about investing in the growth and future of America.
Can we promise to deliver that outcome within a year? No, we can’t.
But here’s what we can promise: With your support, within a year, we will ensure that everyone directly impacted—or at risk of being impacted soon—and more than 50% of Americans understand how the skilled immigration system is discriminatory and exploitative and how this system threatens America’s competitive advantage in technology and healthcare.
This increased awareness will help us build significant allies and create straightforward ways for others to join the cause. We’ll also establish a team of 50 dedicated professionals consistently working to end this discrimination. With this momentum, we are confident and committed to end the discrimination in the upcoming 119th Congress.
