For all things Villages check out our Villages playlist. A factor in our move to The Villages was the accessibility it offers for Randy because of his spinal cord injury. Yep we’re on the “younger” side of this 55+ community, but we still enjoy our Villages Florida lifestyle.
It is our hope that you learn some things, laugh a lot and subscribe. We promote positivity & we love to show the real side of The Villages (not those rumors) & strive to provide quality content.

We went to The Villages Got Talent final last night. This event was presented by Villagers for Veterans. Villagers for Veterans is a non-profit that helps severely wounded veterans regain independence. Check them out at: www.villagersforveterans.org. They do a lot of veterans and proceeds from these event go to things like sponsoring service dogs. The picture below is me with our friend Marky Mark. Check out our friend Marky Mark's performance of Your Man that I posted today. Congratulation to the winner Jose Acevedo from Tampa. His vocal range is outstanding! He won $1,000, a sizzle reel and his own show.

I went to see the Beatlemaniacs play on the Eastport stage. They are a resident group in The Villages who get together to talk all things Beatles and play their music. The group was fun and welcoming. A nice lady gave me a Cavern Club Liverpool shirt. The Cavern Club is known at the birthplace of The Beatles. Go check out the video below to hear the group play.

Who is going to Scooter’s Pajama Bash this Saturday, December 20th? Randy and I will be there. I am not wearing pajamas, but I do have a special outfit to wear. Hi everyone it's Kristen (one half of Our Villages Florida Lifestyle). I took a very cold and windy walk along Sunset Island last night. From our lot in LaGrange we can see the tops of the palm trees on the island. It will be pretty awesome to take a short walk over to it AND even more awesome when our friends @VibesOfTheVillagesFlorida move here to enjoy it with us. Go check out their channel. The size of the island surprised me. It was a slightly longer walk to the other side than I anticipated. Overall, this is just one of MANY things we will be enjoying at Eastport. This is Dave. He’s a friend of my dance partner, Roger. We ran into Dave at Eastport. He walked us over to one of the bronze statues that at Eastport. He said some time ago he was biking and someone took pictures of him and the lady he was with. He asked the photographer what the pictures were for. The photographer said they wanted to show the active lifestyle in The Villages. So, Dave expected the photograph to end up in newspaper or online. Recently, a friend contacted him and told him that there was a bronze statue that resembled him. Although NOT verified, he does believe based on the way the bikes look, how he places his hands on the handle bars, what they’re wearing, the fact that picture was taken of them sometime ago and and many other similarities and, he believes that this is him and his friend. What a story! How cool is that?

We attended the 2025 Lake Sumter Tree Lighting Festival. Earlier in the day, there was some rain. However, by the time the festivities were ready to start the rain stopped. It was overcast and cool, but not cold. The Villages has festivals like this throughout the year that have vendors, food and live entertainment. It’s just one of the perks of living here.
