Yep we’re on the “younger” side of this 55+ community, but we still enjoy our Villages Florida lifestyle.

Boozy Bingo is now at Eastport and it was packed last night. This was the second time for the event at the new town center. This is a popular game at Sawgrass Grove and it’s now at Eastport too. The host plays a song and if you are unsure of the artist/song name don’t worry because after a minute the host provides the answer. Markers and boards are provided and prizes vary.

The 10:00 a.m. kickboxing class at Eastport today was packed. The Eastport calendar showed Kickboxing 10am - 11am with not much else for an explanation. It said no registration was required, but did not show the instructors name. I got there after they started so I am not sure who the instructor was. However, she was upbeat, motivating and communicated clearly throughout the class.

We went to The Villages Got Talent final last night. This event was presented by Villagers for Veterans. Villagers for Veterans is a non-profit that helps severely wounded veterans regain independence. Check them out at: www.villagersforveterans.org. They do a lot of veterans and proceeds from these event go to things like sponsoring service dogs. The picture below is me with our friend Marky Mark. Check out our friend Marky Mark's performance of Your Man that I posted today. Congratulation to the winner Jose Acevedo from Tampa. His vocal range is outstanding! He won $1,000, a sizzle reel and his own show.

I went to see the Beatlemaniacs play on the Eastport stage. They are a resident group in The Villages who get together to talk all things Beatles and play their music. The group was fun and welcoming. A nice lady gave me a Cavern Club Liverpool shirt. The Cavern Club is known at the birthplace of The Beatles. Go check out the video below to hear the group play.

Who is going to Scooter’s Pajama Bash this Saturday, December 20th? Randy and I will be there. I am not wearing pajamas, but I do have a special outfit to wear.
