The Villages Entertainment announced that nightly entertainment will be moved from 5 until 9 p.m. to 6 until 10 p.m. during the summer season. The change will be in effect starting June 1st to Aug. 31st.

I stopped by Take 5 Coffee at Sawgrass Grove in The Villages today. I tried the strawberries and cream latte off their Valentines Day seasonal flavors menu. I wasn’t sure how that flavor combination would be in a latte, but WOW it was delicious. Not too sweet and the strawberry flavor worked very well with the expresso.

We went back to Yamas and we are sharing our thoughts on it. With mixed reviews I can see how some things need improvement. It’s not as wheelchair friendly as some restaurants. Is the Mezze appetizer with $24.00? Check out our Yamas review part 2.

Skin Deep started back in 1987. The band made their Villages debut at Lake Sumter last year. They play classic rock and many songs that other bands don’t play. They told us at their last show that they would be back in 2026 and guess what…they will be at Brownwood tonight 1/29. I encourage everyone to try and get out to see them (if the weather doesn’t cancel the entertainment).
