The creamy and luscious Chanar Payesh, traditional dessert, made from chana or paneer (Indian cottage cheese), is a staple in Bengali cuisine and a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. Chanar Payesh is a rich and decadent pudding that combines the smoothness of paneer with the sweetness of milk. It’s a dessert that’s deeply rooted in Bengali culture, often served during festivals, special occasions, and family gatherings. #chanarpayesh

May the goddess Lakshmi shower you with her blessings of wealth, prosperity and happiness.
প্রার্থনা করি মা লক্ষীর আশীর্বাদে সকলের জীবনে ভরে উঠুক সুখ, সমৃদ্ধি, শান্তি, ভালোবাসা ও সৌভাগ্য।
Kojagori Lokkhi Pujo is a festival that celebrates the goddess Lakshmi, who is the deity of wealth and prosperity in Hinduism. It is observed on the full moon day of the month of Ashwin, which usually falls in October or November. The name Kojagori comes from the Bengali words 'Ke Jago Re', meaning 'who is awake', as it is believed that Lakshmi visits the homes of her devotees at night and blesses those who stay awake and worship her.
The history of Kojagori Lokkhi Pujo is related to the harvest season, when farmers thank Lakshmi for the abundance of crops and grains. Some also believe that it is a continuation of the ancient tradition of worshipping the moon god on the full moon night, as the moon is considered to be a symbol of beauty, purity and prosperity.
The rituals of Kojagori Lokkhi Pujo vary from region to region, but generally involve cleaning and decorating the house, drawing alpana or rangoli patterns on the floor with rice flour paste, lighting lamps and candles, offering flowers, fruits, sweets and kheer (rice pudding) to Lakshmi, chanting mantras and hymns, and performing aarti. Some people also keep a kalash (pot) filled with water and rice grains near the idol or picture of Lakshmi, as it is said to represent her presence. Some also feed brahmins and poor people as a way of expressing gratitude and generosity.
Kojagori Lokkhi Pujo is a popular festival in West Bengal, Assam, Odisha and eastern Bihar, where it is celebrated with great devotion and joy. It is also observed in some parts of Nepal and Bangladesh. It is considered to be an auspicious occasion to seek Lakshmi's blessings for wealth, happiness and well-being.

Something refreshing coming soon! 😎♥️🤗
And a sweet story for you 😊
There was once a young boy who loved to eat apples. He lived near an apple orchard, where he would often go and pick the ripest and juiciest apples from the trees. He especially liked one apple tree that stood at the edge of the orchard. It had the biggest and sweetest apples of all.
The boy would visit the apple tree every day, and the apple tree was happy to see him. The apple tree would bend its branches and let the boy pluck as many apples as he wanted. The boy would thank the apple tree and eat the apples with delight. The apple tree felt loved and appreciated.
As the boy grew older, he started to visit the apple tree less often. He had other things to do, like going to school, playing with his friends, and exploring new places. The apple tree missed him and waited for him to come back.
One day, the boy came to the apple tree after a long time. He looked different. He was taller and stronger, and he had a serious expression on his face. The apple tree was happy to see him and said, "Hello, my friend. Come and eat some of my apples. They are ripe and juicy."
The boy shook his head. "I don't want your apples. I want money. I need to buy things and have fun."
The apple tree thought for a moment and said, "I don't have money, but I have apples. You can sell them in the market and get money."
The boy liked the idea. He picked all the apples from the apple tree and put them in a basket. He thanked the apple tree and left.
The apple tree felt sad and lonely.
The boy did not come back for a long time. The apple tree waited patiently for him.
One day, the boy came to the apple tree again. He looked even more different. He was a grown man now, with a beard and a suit. He had a worried expression on his face. The apple tree was happy to see him and said, "Hello, my friend. Come and eat some of my apples. They are ripe and juicy."
The man shook his head. "I don't want your apples. I want a house. I need a place to live with my family."
The apple tree thought for a moment and said, "I don't have a house, but I have wood. You can cut down my branches and build a house."
The man liked the idea. He chopped off all the branches from the apple tree and piled them up. He thanked the apple tree and left.
The apple tree felt pain and sorrow.
The man did not come back for a long time. The apple tree waited patiently for him.
One day, the man came to the apple tree again. He looked even more different. He was an old man now, with gray hair and wrinkles. He had a tired expression on his face. The apple tree was happy to see him and said, "Hello, my friend. Come and eat some of my apples. They are ripe and juicy."
The old man shook his head. "I don't want your apples. I want a boat. I need to travel around the world."
The apple tree thought for a moment and said, "I don't have a boat, but I have a trunk. You can cut down my trunk and make a boat."
The old man liked the idea. He sawed off the trunk from the apple tree and carved it into a boat. He thanked the apple tree and left.
The apple tree felt nothing but emptiness.
The old man did not come back for a long time. The apple tree waited patiently for him.
One day, the old man came to the apple tree again. He looked very different. He was frail and weak, and he had a sad expression on his face. The apple tree was happy to see him and said, "Hello, my friend."
The old man smiled faintly and said, "Hello, my friend."
The apple tree asked, "What do you want from me?"
The old man said, "Nothing much. I just want to rest for a while."
The apple tree said, "I don't have anything left to give you. I am just an old stump now."
The old man said, "That's all I need. An old stump is good enough for me."
He sat down on the stump and leaned against it.
The apple tree felt warm and cozy.
They stayed together for a long time.
They were happy together.
They were friends till the end.
