Some of the most important work in government happens quietly, through honest conversations and shared purpose because better service starts with leaders working together.
Today, alongside my colleague PS Ahmed Ibrahim, State Department for National Government Coordination, we paid a courtesy call to the Prime Cabinet Secretary Hon. Musalia Mudavadi at his office in Nairobi.
It was a thoughtful, forward-looking engagement on how we strengthen coordination across government to deliver faster, better, and more responsive public services.
These consultations remind us that collaboration is not a slogan. It is daily work. When ministries align, citizens feel the difference.

Yesterday reminded me why staying connected to the people we serve is the most powerful part of public service.
I was delighted to host Tiriki community leaders Mr. Evans Amulavu and Mr. Silas Musasa from Vihiga County for a candid and constructive courtesy call. We spoke openly about the aspirations of our people, grassroots mobilisation, and ensuring government programmes deliver real impact on the ground.
As we look ahead to the forthcoming General Elections, unity, responsible leadership and collaboration remain key to maendeleo ya jamii yetu and a stronger Kenya under our government’s administration.

Public service is not paperwork. It’s people, purpose, and decisions made with courage. This morning at Harambee House, I chaired our weekly Senior Management Meeting for the State Department for Public Service and Human Capital Development.
Together with an exceptional team, we reviewed priorities, solved bottlenecks, and pushed for results that citizens can feel. Under this government's administration, we stay focused on delivery, accountability, and huduma bora kwa Wakenya.
This is the work and I’m proud to do it.

Public service cannot afford to pause while the world moves forward. Yesterday, I spoke about how Kenya is deliberately preparing its public servants for an AI-driven future and why this work matters right now.
I am in Paris on a work-study engagement at Institut national du service public (INSP), France’s equivalent of our Kenya School of Government. I was honoured to present on how KSG is embedding artificial intelligence into public service training, from AI and human resource management, to senior leadership development, middle management capability, and a practical introduction to AI in public service.
Together with Prof. Nura Mohamed, KSG Director General, Hon. Justice (Rtd) Charles Nyachae, and our teams, we discussed the four AI thematic areas we have developed and the five thematic where collaboration with INSP (widely regarded as the world’s leading public service school) will help us go further, faster.
This is how our government's administration builds lasting capacity: learning, partnering, and acting with purpose.

Fair pay and fiscal discipline go hand-in-hand. At yesterday’s launch of SRC’s 2025/26–2029/30 Strategic Plan, I told colleagues: “Through this plan, SRC wants to take impact to another level.”
Our State Department and SRC are “tied at the hip” - they authorise, we implement - so results must be measurable, time-bound and felt on every payslip.
I saluted the recent salary review for our uniformed forces - our brave men and women who keep Kenya safe day and night - and thanked SRC for honouring their service. I also invited the Commission for a cup of tea as we keep working closely.
I was honoured to welcome to the stage Head of Public Service, Mr. Felix Koskei, a gallant son of this nation and, in the famous words of Esteé Lauder, proof that success is worked for, not just dreamt about.
Asanteni Justice William Ouko, Chair Sammy Chepkwony and leaders across the Executive, Parliament and Judiciary. When wage systems are fair, trust in government grows. Hapo ndipo huduma inapata maana: real service, real impact, real change.

Yesterday, in Mbale, Vihiga County, I joined hands with County Women Rep. Hon. Dr. Beatrice Kahai Adagala to officially flag off food deliveries bound for vulnerable families across Vihiga.
Every smile, every handshake at the County Commissioner’s Office reminded me why we serve - to uphold dignity and ensure no one is left behind.
Through this initiative, we strengthen social protection while building hope. I applaud Hon. Dr. Adagala’s energy and her grassroots team for turning compassion into action.
Together, we’re proving that this government's agenda - rooted in inclusive development - is in motion. Let’s keep working, caring and delivering for every Kenyan.

Public service should feel human - seen, heard, served. This week, we launched the Public Service Workplace Policy on HIV, AIDS & other syndemic diseases (2025) at KSG, then I spoke at the National Defence College on turning research into decisions that change lives.
As PS for Public Service & Human Capital Development, I’m obsessed with evidence, dignity and delivery.
Here, you’ll find honest updates, field visits, and practical wins: safer workplaces, better service, digital efficiencies and people-first reform. If you care about work that treats Kenyans with respect, follow along and let’s build it - together.

I’ve just stepped into a new chapter—as PS for Public Service & Human Capital Development—and it’s already full of energy, purpose and promise! Since taking office on 22 April 2025 at Harambee House, I’ve committed to co‑creating inclusive, people‑centred service across Kenya.
In recent months, I’ve met with NYS leadership to align recruitment, welfare and curriculum with market needs, joined the ESAMI Governing Board to strengthen regional leadership networks, and distributed relief supplies to uplift vulnerable learners.
My background as an academic and quality assurance leader grounds my approach in evidence, integrity, and empathy. Ahead, I envision a transformed public service—innovative, fair and deeply human.
If you believe in public service that listens, cares and delivers—let’s walk this journey together. Follow for stories, progress and the heart behind the mission.
