10 years huh, it has been exactly 10 years since I created this channel...which funnily enough started specifically as a Roblox channel [which is why 4 of the first 3 videos are Roblox], but the moment the first Daytona USA video I uploaded caught people's interest, I pivoted into arcade game stuff instead...and since then its basically flipflopping between any other games that caught my interest.
It's why I couldn't really think of a way to make an anniversary video [besides time and interest on it] - this was always a channel for me to throw stuff I played and recorded on a whim so there's A LOT of games peppered through its history [and I feel the audience for a handful of them have since moved on], although to this day I'm still floored by my old Virtual-On video being the most watched ever on my channel.
It was only a year ago or so where I made Replay Warehouse to dump a lot of raw gameplay I'd have dumped here otherwise [and Alt Channel 4 years ago but basically abandoned it for replay warehouse], but its funny that I still threw in some gameplay stuff whenever I felt like it took me forever to pull off...although now I've wanted to leave this only for edited stuff [which is why the days of DKR and Ring Racers runs I've made recently are now at RW instead of here lol]
Find it funny too that the most watched videos here [that aren't the Virtual-On video or soundtracks, nor the Net de Bomberman opening] are connected to Sonic [Ring Racers guides and Sonic on Bombsquad], and that Sonic but bad happens video being the newest accidental success being...well, a Sonic video in every way.
I guess that could mean I could commit to making more Sonic stuff frequently, but as I had said on a previous post, I'll do more Sonic when I feel like doing Sonic [although Sonic Chaos has tempting me like an evil voice recently for some reason lmao - if I do play it then that's a guaranteed "bad things happen" video for obvious reasons]. For some reason its always the more unplanned stuff that comes out with better quality and even luck with the viewership :p
and uhh yeah, surreal feeling when I'd remember most of the times I was at when I made most of the videos - but tales about passage of time are something for another day
Whoever's been here reading this, whether from recently or been here from looong ago, thanks for tagging along all this time :]

addenum to previous community post: basically most of the stuff I do is unplanned - and if I do something particularly planned and/or ambitious its either by perceived interest [sonic 2 but bad happens video], a specific date [kart anniversaries] or because I had the material to be ambitious enough [most ring racers montages]
but in general some of the stuff I've done that had done that had surprisingly caught on [gorilla gear +r, the megaman zero deathmatch videos, thrill drive 3 in a nutshell, and most notably, sonic 1 but bad things happen] didn't have any special sauce or trying to be overly ambitious - they just happened to be videos I wanted to try making with footage, threw some editing...and ended up as surprising success for both watchers and for me [meaning I'd rewatch these and also feel I somehow cooked those with special sauce despite knowing i didn't *plan* to]
i guess i just need a good mood and some footage to put together something i end up quite liking - luck with the algo is not something i'm concerned with [but fairly happy if i happen to be lucky with lmao], but anyhow, thank you all for watching all the stuff i put together with stick, stones and kdenlive, glad yall enjoy it
Well, it has been a while since last time I wrote one of these [disclaimer: this one's gonna be long so prepare yourself when you click read more]
- First of all, the hedgehog elephant in the room...errr...I definitely got to do more "sonic but bad things happen" those one day, but know that my plans aren't making those over and over back to back, as tempting as it may sound - but if I *feel* like making one again, you'll sure know. Right now though I haven't played any particularly silly or tough Sonic games to promise that yet (I do have Sonic Adventure footage but since disgraces weren't as plenty in that game, I'd have to approach a video of it in a different way)
ok with that out of the way
- Now that the two big videos I wanted to make recently are done [the SRB2Kart 7th Anniversary Special and Rings of Rage EX], what's gonna be next I don't exactly have a plan...I do have ideas but what will be first is what I can't guarantee, so for now I'll hold on to that.
- Regarding the suspicious absence of Ring Racers v2.4 GP/TA runs here despite it being released, that's because I decided to move my GP and TA uploads to the Replay Warehouse [as I figured I would save main channel uploads mainly for edited stuff, including RR edits] - you can find the runs I've made so far over that channel or check the playlist with all those runs I have recently created [that I will update anytime I upload a new run there]. For those who want the count, as of writing this there are 4 Master GP S-Rank runs in there [one of those is a custom cup] and two TA runs going beyond the platinum medal.
- well, its nice that the yakuza 3 video got to some people even if it was a big runaway success - reminds me I do still have some Yakuza 2 footage stashed somewhere. Same with Y4, but I'm not sure if I'll continue it anytime soon [still at saejima's part] or if I'll want to make a video of it at the end of everything.
- and by the way, i think sonic 1 is cool [bringing it up because the video i made could probably be read as that I think otherwise] - i know i made the [haha stupid deaths haha stinky traps] aaaand scrap brain does get there sometimes [although s2 metropolis is also egregious], but I do have respect from it since I later pulled off a run with all emeralds and remembering enough of labyrinth's bs to actually dodge it all cleanly. prob could make for a video, but ehhhh that will happen when i want it to happen
think that's all - also recently made it to 2k subs wooooooow [...ok now where do i go from here], I guess its natural to go through idea/art block sometimes which is why I'm upfront about not being completely sure on my next plans, but whatever comes to mind like a fixation sooner or later will likely result into a video...until then, see you later
Good news: Crossworlds's full version still runs well on my PC, and after going through all the cups in Sonic Speed, my first Super Sonic Speed cup run [although NOT my first time playing Super Sonic Speed - that was days ago and I suffered so much more lmao] ended with an all 1st no retry run lfg
Bad news: I had to make every concession possible just to make sure it was at playable speed on my AMD Radeon HD 6570 [yes, it actually runs on this]...so the recording is as low quality as the screenshot makes it look like. So I have my doubts on whether I'd upload this here or at the replay channel lol
Dead Line in Ring Racers is dead, long live Dead Line [It got removed from 2.4 RC1 because there's no one to maintain the track in its current state]
In remembrance of this track [fondly or not lmao], a throwback to that time where I did the questionable decision of suffering through SPB Attack in that track until I got it done
For those that don't fw ring racers, here's something I did in Crossworlds's open network test [except its an A-Rank time instead of S-Rank because I don't have enough gadgets yet and its on low end because of my PC...so that's why its currently unlisted]
but what if I wanted to play 1080 snowboarding- OKAY FINE
WANT RING RACERS
HERE'S RING RACERS
Did this for Eldog's latest cerv.id map jam event that will be streamed in July 12th, which is why I haven't done a video of it yet [chances are that I'll have to tweak it according to feedback I get there], but yes, I'm making a new Ring Racers map
now let me have time with other games until the stream happens and pick this map up again [also I've been occasionally doing 2.0 Intense runs again - whenever I unlock 2.0 Master I may or may not put the runs up here instead of the replay channel if it happens to be as soul crushing as Grandmaster]

Played a lot of Yakuza 3 these past few days, so there's a chance that I make a video about that game but with the many ways you can suffer with it
oh and also started playing Sonic Adventure again [I have to play it further to have enough clips for a video though]

it only has been one day, what do you mean the sonic video is already at 1.1k
on the flipside, this means I can absolutely go play sonic 2 for a sequel hohohoho
