(edit: found some mistakes. will upload sometime around 10:00-11:00 KST)
Assuming I don't catch any major mistakes at the last minute, next LobCorp video will be up today at 9:00 KST ie. you'll have something to watch while waiting for Canto VIII.
I didn't expected to get decino'ed and fall into a deep rabbit hole about how Project Moon devised their own take on basic game concepts.
Next 2 videos will be much lower effort (for real this time) to make up for the amount of research and detail that went into this video.
New video out now. Would've finished it 2 weeks ago if not for the medical thing I mentioned in the last stream. Next video might be even more low-effort, but I should be able to ramp up in effort/quality in the following videos as I heal up.
As for streaming, I can still stream, just not at peak streaming hours (12NN-7PM Eastern, early morning here) until I feel better.
I'll see if I can do another episode of Ruina-lternatives this week. Next week's also Factorio: Space Age which will give me weeks, if not months, worth of streaming content, though I'm considering not simulcasting it to YouTube (ie. stream only on Twitch) and just upload a summary video of the 100-300+ hour experience.
Just in time for this milestone, I'm currently uploading a ~50 minute tutorial-disguised-as-video-essay covering the one topic that's essentially preventing me from making further tutorials not only for Limbus Company, but also parts 2 onward of my Library of Ruina guide.
I still need to do some checks, but hopefully it will be up in a few hours. Worst case, tomorrow morning.
(EDIT: yeah, worst case. this is gonna go up tomorrow morning KST)
Teaser image below.
With this video out, I could finally start pumping out guides at a more regular rate. I'll also try streaming again, maybe 2-3 streams a week on Twitch, simulcast to this channel.
Note that while my main content in the near future will be ProjectMoon-related, I don't intend to be a full PM content creator. I'll be diversifying to other non-mainstream games (what you already see in my channel e.g. strategy, automation) and maybe some streamer bait if I wanna screw around a bit.
Again, thank you for your support and I hope to see you in future videos and streams.
It can be easy to miss with the current UI (v1.13.1), but in the Mirror of Mirrors Dungeon, the Dispensers actually sell 3 EGO Gifts instead of just 1. You just need to scroll down to see them.
Still no ETA on the next video, but here's a quick tip for those going through chapter 4 right now but still haven't figured out how AoE targeting works in Limbus Company:
AoE skills first try to target all the slots of the main target, then distribute the remaining targets to the front of the formation ie. similar to how regular battle targeting works.
So say you target the unit at the back of the enemy formation with an AoE skill. Like we see in the 1st picture, the units in the front become sub-targets of the attack.
This goes against typical Area-of-Effect and splash damage mechanics where the sub-targets are usually the units next to the main target. Think of the sub-target AoE as more of a shotgun blast hitting the ones in front rather than a grenade blast.
As mentioned by the tutorial, if a unit has multiple slots and are targeted by an AoE skill, that skill will only damage that unit once if it goes through.
Multi-part abnormalities are slightly more complicated. As above, the AoE skill will target all slots of the attacked part, and it will continue targeting the front of the formation rather than targeting other parts of the abnormality.
For our next examples, Fluid Sac hits 5 targets. In the second picture, targeting one of the two right arm slots will lead to all the clay dolls becoming sub-targets.
Contrast this to the third picture, where targeting the slower left arm slot in the front will lead to one of the right arm slots becoming a sub target too. This is because once the AoE finishes targeting the main target (left arm), it distributes the excess 4 targets through the front of the formation:
- 3 clay dolls
- left arm is skipped because it's already the main target
- one right arm slot
Another thing complicating Abnormality battles is, as mentioned by the tutorial, some body parts count as having more slots than they actually have. Normally the game displays the weight of each slot (see X2 in the 4th picture) but sometimes it bugs out and doesn't show the weights.
-
Note that everything I talked about above is just the default behavior - the game may choose to change up how AoE works in certain situations.
The next Limbus Company guides depend on what happens with the upcoming combat overhaul patch. (1.3.0? 1.2.1?)
If it's stable, I might release a couple of videos early next week. If it forces a couple of hotfixes, or worse, breaks the combat altogether, I'll have to hold them off until things become stable.
In the meantime, here's a little something for subscribers and repeat viewers - Limbus Company fonts for your meme and content creation needs:
Tagmarker by Pop Ovidiu Sebastian - main title Bebas Kai by Dharma Type / Ryoichi Tsunekawa - subtitle and general info Excelsior Sans by AJ Paglia - number and math symbols Mikodacs by Gluk - title and headers Pretendard by Kil Hyung-jin - general text
No links even though all of them are free fonts - 5+ links in a post might be marked as spam. Searching for them should be pretty easy if you add the creator to the search terms (ie. Excelsior Sans should return the "Star Trek"-ish font, not the older Excelsior serif Linotype font).
--
I'll occasionally be streaming on Twitch, evenings Manila time (UTC +8). I'll warm up with Limbus Company dailies before chilling with Factorio and other similar games.
Just trying out community posts. Might as well give a channel update:
- Updated LobCorp lore run spoiler episode guide to finally include the episodes where Abnormalities were picked and fully unlocked. wiki.bryanbibat.net/Lobotomy_Corporation_Lore_Run_… - Despite what I said in the videos, there's no ETA yet for future entries to the LoR guide. Maybe if Midnight Suns becomes a smash hit (or utterly bombs lol) I might force myself to churn part 2 out to cater to the sudden increase of people looking for a similar "card game + tactical board game hybrid".
- Similarly, the Library of Ruina lore run will be on hold until I verify that the 100% ruleset I'll be using is feasible as a streamable Let's Play. Right now I'm thinking of adding a "can't repeat same pages/shelves/floors on consecutive receptions" rule on top of "must use 100% of all the pages before proceeding to the next chapter".
- I'll be posting filler content in the coming weeks, random VODs from streams earlier this year that I haven't uploaded yet. I don't care about YT's algorithm (this channel's not even monetized) but I'd rather have YT think this channel is active so that when I finally upload another guide, there's a better chance it'd reach someone that needs it.

(reposting because it doesn't seem to show up in subscriber feeds)
First off, thank you all again, this time for the 1000+ subs.
To mark this occasion, I've made a video twice the length of the 500 subs one.
Just kidding. This was actually the 2nd "low effort" video I mentioned in my last post (the first being the Arcana Slave short).
I mean, how hard can a video game rundown listicle be? Everyone's gonna do it for their best/worst of 2025 in the next week or so...
Turns out, if you choose the weirdest games for the list and actually make an effort to explain them properly, it's much harder than you'd expect.
i.e. instead of 1 guide, I made 10+ mini-guides.
Anyway, next video is gonna be low-effort... though I'm not gonna say "for real this time" this time to avoid jinxing myself.
Thanks again for the support, and hope you enjoy the long video.
