Tomorrow I will sing in Swedish for you! On the 13th of December we celebrate ”Lucia” here in Finland and in Sweden. And this song that I will share with you tomorrow, is always a part of the celebration.

It usually is very calm and sung by a choir, but I have made my own arrangement of it and it is a mix of a folksy vibe with some ”etherealness” in some parts. 😄

Time flies! Today it’s my 3 year anniversary here on YouTube! 😊 🥳 Starting this channel is one of the best things I have ever done. I have learned so much about both myself and about music, and I have ”met” so many wonderful people along the way. 💚

I am so grateful for all of you that is listening to my music, and that many of you are there and giving me support in both highs and lows. I appreciate you so much! ❤️

The situation for us composers and musicians is a bit strange right now because of all the AI music, but I will never give up on creating music because of that. I’m thinking that maybe music like mine will have a place in this world despite of that - no matter what view numbers or subscriber numbers say. 😊

I am working hard on the first single for my album, so this week I felt like doing another cover. It started with ”Seperate Ways” by Journey, but when it was finished I just felt so bad about it… 🙄

I then decided to do a song that is very precious to me. ”By Your Side” by Sade. I know it isn’t cinematic fantasy, and probably this is not for my typical audience - but I decided to do it anyway. Because I just had to.

I promise it will be more cinematic fantasy music next week! In the meantime, I hope that you will give this a listen! 😊🙏🏻💚

Just wanted to say hi! 👋😊 I have been very busy these past two weeks, so that is why I have been a bit distant.

Just wanted to share something a bit personal today…

Those of you who have followed me for a while might have noticed that this year hasn’t exactly been easy for me in many ways. I’ve really tried to keep my head up and keep going despite everything, but this weekend it felt like I needed to fall apart a little in order to get back up again.

I’ve had health issues and other things in my private life that have caused a lot of sorrow and frustration, and during all of that, music and you lovely followers have been such a welcome distraction and something beautiful in all the darkness.

But something has happened to my YouTube channel lately. 🥺

I don’t want to be a complainer, but the truth is that it is hard to watch my beloved channel keep going down week after week. YouTube isn’t pushing my videos the same way anymore, and my views have dropped a lot this year.

And I can’t really figure out why. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Honestly, I don’t really know what I want to say with this post. Maybe it will come across like I’m whining and looking for reassurance? If so, then so be it. 😊

Of course, I will never give up (I was born exceptionally stubborn 😉 and I love what I do), but I just needed to vent a little. 😊💕

I want to end by saying that those of you who are still here, who comment and like, and who listen to my music – I appreciate you so much, and you mean the world to me! 🙏🏻❤️ I truly hope Evergreen can continue to grow, even if things are moving extremely slowly right now.

I promise I will keep trying to make the best music I can, straight from my heart. 😊❤️

I have been working on my album’s first song a lot and I am happy to tell you that it will be finished soon! 😊 This album is incredibly personal to me, because every song tells a story of something that has left, or continues to leave, a significant mark on my life. And that is a bit scary. But I am still excited to share it with you! 😊
