Rites & Rhythms
I made this piece for that strange moment when everything around you is already quiet, but something inside you still hasn’t understood that the day is over.

If you’re there tonight, I hope this voice and slow rhythm can stay beside you for a while.
You don’t have to make yourself calm.
Maybe just give calm a little space to come back on its own 🌒

Some days, the weight is not one single thing.
It is the conversation you keep replaying.
The tension your body is still holding.
The responsibility you have been carrying for too long.
You do not need to release all of it today
Maybe the river can carry just a small part 🌊
My new 1:11:11 river meditation with slow djembe is here: https://youtu.be/X047ghpbnj0
If the river could carry one thing for you today, what would it be?

Lately I’ve noticed something in myself...
Even when the day is technically over, sometimes my body is still somewhere inside it. My shoulders are tense, my mind is still moving, and I can feel that part of me waiting for the next thing I need to do.
I think I’ve become very used to staying “on” for longer than I actually need to.
And these days I’ve been trying to notice that moment a little more the moment when nothing is asking anything from me anymore, but my body hasn’t caught up yet
🌊That feeling was actually the reason I made this journey🌊
Not to force relaxation. Not to make everything disappear. Just to create a slower place to stay for a while, until the body begins to soften on its own.
If you’ve had one of those days too, maybe this can be our quiet place for tonight
And I’m curious where do you usually notice the tension of the day staying in your body the longest?
For me, it’s often the shoulders and jaw.

It feels like the right time for a change🌿
A lot has changed in my life over the past few months, and for a while, I felt as though I had lost a part of myself.
During that time, I often returned to your comments beneath the older journeys. I read your stories and words of gratitude and many of them moved me to tears.
There is a phrase I kept remembering: No matter how long the night feels, dawn always returns 🌅
And now, little by little, I feel like myself again.
Thank you for staying here, for listening, and for allowing this music to become part of your lives. There are now 33,000 of you here and it is still difficult for me to fully understand how extraordinary that is!!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your presence helped me find my way back to myself and back to the music🤍🤍🤍
Because I am returning as a slightly different version of myself, Rites & Rhythms is also changing with me....
You may have already noticed the new banner, and today the channel has a new avatar too — so I suppose I look a little different to you now🪘🌿
I wanted the new symbol to carry more meaning than a djembe alone:
🪘 the djembe — the rhythm at the heart of this channel
🌿 the roots — grounding, inner stability, and connection with the Earth
⭕ the circle — a space we can return to again and again
Together, the new avatar and banner feel closer to what Rites & Rhythms has become more grounded, natural, calm and connected to the body and the Earth.
The music remains a space for slowing down, resting, feeling, and returning to yourself. But now this space also feels more honest and closer to who I am today.
🤍Thank you for being part of this journey🤍

Some days, the mind feels too loud to rest.
This waterfall journey was created as a space to slow down, soften the body, and let heavy emotions move through you gently. 💧
Use it when you feel tense, overwhelmed, or when your nervous system needs a quiet place to land.
What did the water help you release today?

Yesterday I went for a walk in the forest near my home 🌲
The birds were singing so beautifully that I felt inspired to record some of that sound and weave it into today’s video.
I’d really love to hear your feedback does the soft birdsong make the journey feel more alive and calming for you?
And I’m curious: do forest walks help you feel calm and grounded, or do you feel more peaceful staying at home? 🌿

How are you feeling today? 🌿
This new journey was inspired by a quiet walk in nature the kind of moment when the forest feels steady, the body starts to soften, and everything inside becomes a little more calm.
I wanted to create music that carries that feeling: deep rest, grounding, and a slow return to inner stability.
Do you spend time walking in nature during summer?
Does it help you feel more grounded?
With love, Rites & Rhythms 🌍

Sometimes you don’t need answers
You just need to keep walking
Step by step… until something inside you becomes lighter
This one is for that moment

There are places where everything becomes quiet.
Above the mist, the air feels wider and the world slows down. This rhythm was created with that feeling in mind steady, grounded, and open like the horizon at sunrise.

The earth is quiet, but something inside is moving. 🌫️
Today’s session was created for that in-between space when you don’t need intensity, only steadiness.
When do you feel more grounded in silence or in rhythm?
🎧 The new piece is now on the channel.
