We had the pleasure of sitting down with Nigerian-born, London-based artist Ken Nwadiogbu, whose vibrant, genre-defying paintings have established him as one of the most exciting contemporary voices of his generation. In this intimate studio conversation, Ken reflects on his artistic journey, from mastering hyperrealism in Nigeria to creating his own movement, Contemporealism, blending traditional portraiture, conceptual ideas, and vivid color.
Ken also shares his process, from working with Akwete fabric to using mirrors and large-scale installations, and discusses how he sees art as a space for connection, transformation, and joy.
Whether speaking about vulnerability, belonging, or the power of visibility, Ken Nwadiogbu offers a candid and inspiring look at how an artist evolves while staying true to his voice and community.
We had the pleasure of sitting down with renowned choreographer Lynne Page, whose bold, risk-taking work has made her a standout figure in the world of dance and theatre. In this intimate studio conversation, Lynne reflects on her journey, from her early inspirations watching Dance Theater of Harlem, Mark Morris, and Twyla Tharp, to developing her own voice as a choreographer. She opens up about the emotional and creative challenges behind the scenes, the importance of confidence and clarity in leadership, and the unique way she visualizes choreography in her mind before it's ever performed. Lynne also shares thoughts on vulnerability, artistic risk, and how years of experience have shaped her into the artist she is today.
"With digital, you can just shoot and shoot and shoot it until your heart's content, until your cardโs full. But there's actually something about being more contemplative and thinking more about when you take the pictureโbeing in the moment, you know, being part of the landscapeโand asking yourself, โWhen do I feel is the right time to take this picture?โ rather than making that decision afterwards, when you're going in and looking at hundreds of pictures youโve taken, thinking, โHave I captured the moment?โ Actually, the moment should be here."

We are pleased to present the 18th episode "Lines" featuring British painter Ben Johnson, of the original short film series "Cinematic Portraits" by DOGMA85.
We had the pleasure of sitting down with Sri Lanka-born, London-based painter Chaya De Silva. She shared her incredible journeyโfrom leaving a corporate job in London to becoming a full-time professional artist. Chaya opens up about overcoming self-doubt, navigating motherhood, and the challenges of being a self-taught immigrant artist often overlooked by galleries. Inspired by her aunt, who ran a batik art business in Sri Lanka, and fueled by her talent and the power of social media, Chaya has built a loyal following online, attracted numerous clients, and collaborated with major brands like Xbox, Sky TV, and Canon.
In the latest episode of our original series "Studio Interviews," we had the pleasure of hosting โช@luca-bosaniโฌ , a multimedia artist whose practice merges sculpture, fashion, and performance to challenge and redefine traditional gender roles.
During the interview, among other things, Luca explores how fashion affects everyone, discovering queerness in his university years, the history of heels, which started as a garment used in war by Persians, his recent residency at the โช@vamuseumโฌ and his iconic creation called U.P.O. (Unidentified Performing Objects): artworks that reject categorization and sit between definitions (shoes/sculptures โ garments/paintings); ever-changing, fluid, and queer, they aim to transform both the wearer and the viewer.
We are excited to share a new episode from our interview series, Studio Interviews, where we explore creativity and artistic expression.
In this episode, we had the pleasure of speaking with Italian London-based artist Luca Bosani, whose work challenges conventions through fashion, sculpture, and performance.
I think we were all aware, wall know that the world is warming up, the sea levels are rising, the species are dying on unprecedented levels, and humanity's a threat to ourselves. But we're not motivated. And I think that's because we're aware of statistics, but I don't think we feel emotionally connected enough.
We are pleased to present our new documentary about Underwater Sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor, whose groundbreaking work continues to inspire and raise awareness about the fragile beauty of our oceans.
It's not easy to find an artist who encapsulates so many layers and concepts in their work quite like Jason deCaires Taylor. A pioneer in the field, Jason has redefined sculpture by creating works that are not just art but living ecosystems.
Transcending the traditional notion of sculpture as a static and timeless object, his creations host marine life such as corals and algae while providing shelter for fish. Through his work, he also addresses the immense loss our world faces due to climate change, making a powerful statement on environmental degradation.
Beyond this, his art deeply connects with water, the essential element of life from which we all originate. The incredible fusion of technical skill, naturalistic detail, and artistic vision in Jason's work results in creations that are both unique and profoundly impactful.
