Adventures with Lycan my German Shepherd Dog
Lycan, my German Shepherd and I enjoy many adventures: we hike, we herd Chickens & Homing Pigeons, we enjoy Protection Training, Mantrailing, Scent Work,Nosework, Dog Obedience as well as Trick Training and very recently we started Barn Hunt. I am also all about keeping this German Shepherd Dog healthy and share my knowledge regarding the DIY BARF diet (Natural Nutrition), grooming and of course Nail Care for dogs. I am a Professional Dog Trainer and Dog Behaviourist and I love working with dogs.
This channel shares many Dog Training Tips, some of them cover Obedience, Trick Training, Behaviour Modification and even how to discipline your dog using training with Understanding. Recently we adopted a kitten who will share the channel with Lycan and myself.

This Friday 2 January 2026 will be the video you have been waiting for. Lycan enters his first ever Barn Hunt Trial. I entered us in the Rat Instinct Trial and also the Novice Trial. Also part of this particular video are some of the runs of the other participants. So many different breeds took part, from the small to the large. Do not miss this exciting and entertaining video.

Join us on the 28th November 2025 for Lycan's very first encounter with Barn Hunt. This is a dog sport where dogs are required to find a rat amongst hay or straw bales. It was interesting to watch my dog try and figure this out after having done only Mantrailing and Scent Detection. This was VERY new to him and very entertaining for me. But also a huge learning curve as I realized I will have to work hard to make Barn Hunt fun for Lycan.

We have a Nosework Level 1 Trial coming up and need to practice. It is time to practice outdoors in a public place as the Exterior element of the Trial is difficult for Lycan, especially on windy days.
So we arrived at the park and my so called very well trained GSD forgot all his training..... but see for yourself this Friday, 26 September 2025.
