I moved away from my rural home to make a new one in the city, and finally got a job! I’m so much bolder, so much more confident and have made many new acquaintances 🥰🙏🏾🙏🏾

I haven’t liked how my life has looked/felt for a very long time. The Lord is pruning me, like He does ever so continually with all of us. This week I finally noticed the pattern & how I’m really my biggest problem. What I mean by that is, whether or not I like to believe it… I’m very much responsible for a lot of the heartache I’ve faced. Sure there was some ignorance and there were other times where I was just purely naive, but we live and learn. I can partner with God to fix it, and I will, but I’m sure a couple of you can relate to how hard that is or can be.

Pruning comes with acceptance, release, confession & accountability…

God has called me to expose myself in some ways that are always so painful in the beginning, but sets me free in the end.

I have a testimony to share, I’m not sure when, but He’s helping me break it down to full precision. I never saw myself telling the FULL, undiluted story… especially when pieces of it are in real time, and if not real time… close enough to the current. But I woke up one day and just didn’t want to be ashamed anymore. I felt a release…

I want to be able to deliver people from their deepest-darkests… and if I have that desire, then that means God placed it in me, which also means He STARTS WITH ME.

I can’t wait to not care, to boast in His deliverance because “I did this or that…” and Jesus saved me, still chose me… even though my walk is no cookie cutter… far from that.

But let it be… what is done has been done, and what’s to be done will be.

Also!: I’ve been reading the book of Ecclesiastes. It’s so bittersweet and makes me a little sad because of how brutally honest it is. But it’s also keeping me grounded and aligns perfectly with my life. It really is all vanity! 🦋
