If I started updating the full musical suites with tracklists with timestamps like Joe does, would anyone care or notice?
Joe extensively documents a lot of the music in this show and this would be a great way to start, sort of, standardizing the track names used that fans call by different titles.
Trust me, if you're a fan of DBZ music at all- you're gonna wanna stay tuned to Joe Holaska's channel @Joes_Z-Music. This man is one of the best of the best, he's composed more than half of everything new you've heard in the Faulconer Re-Mix project.
He's insanely talented, humble and is much more responsive to his fans than I am (but don't abuse that privilege).
He's the real deal, and you should go show him a little love. He's been the silent driving force behind everything we've been doing.
It's going better than expected, so many brand new themes that I already know are gonna be classics. But we won't forget to include familiar originals. We'll make good use of "Vegeta's Theme" 😉
I just wanna take a second to shoutout how personally proud I am of the way "Plight of the Children"s entire last act turned out- composition, editing, nostalgia servicing etc.
I know it's not a particular favorite filler episode, but it came out so great from start to finish and my favorite episodes to do are the ones that weren't the most "eventful" or "memorable" and try to deliver a new way to watch it.
Are there any particular favorite episodes or moments you really enjoyed that we re-scored throughout the Saiyan Saga you liked? We do read the comments and love hearing your opinions. You guys really help make this feel magical to us. ✨️
Just a few days late, but happy 500 subscribers to the Faulconer Re-Mix channel! Go check it out if you haven't for some reason. We finally got Community Posts, so we'll try to post fun stuff there regularly.
Also, I know everyone assumed I did, but I do not in fact run that channel. I edit almost all the content in it, but it's not actually me. I'm much less professional.
As we work very hard on scoring and editing the entire Saiyan Battle ( Ep 21-35) as best as we can, we're trying to strike a careful balance that feels very "Ocean Dub Wasserman" while also remaining purely "classic Funimation" that connects with the early Frieza music.
The question is, how do you feel about the balance between brand new themes vs old familiar themes? Is there too much new music that it begins to feel unrecognizable?

Get ready for the return of monkey madness in the next episode. 🐵

Much like Ep 17, the first half is gonna be a spooky Halloween episode as we finally reach the final stretch of filler.
