We’re looking for artists who can help create 5–10 sketches/drawings per episode of the podcast. (NO DIGITAL ART)
We're hoping to work with several artists so that the workload is shared and we can showcase lots of people's work.
The sketches will be featured on the episodes and will be either kept/given/sold/auctioned off which will help pay for illustration costs.
Extra money made will be used to purchase more art from other artists. I’ll work with selected artists individually regarding compensation.
The expected turnaround would be roughly 1–2 weeks per batch, so I’m looking for people who can work fairly quickly while still delivering strong, interesting artwork.

Create a sketch of a Grey alien crawling out of a crashed UFO and post it in the art-critique-share channel.
This does not need to be an elaborate or highly polished piece. In fact, I’d prefer it isn’t.
The actual work will involve producing 5–10 different images per episode, so I’m mainly looking at:
• Your art style / talent • How well you can visually interpret a scene
• Realistic turnaround time
• Your ability to produce multiple sketches consistently I’ll reach out directly to the artists who are selected. Again, don’t spend days on the submission.
I want to see what you can realistically create within the type of turnaround this project will require. Looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with.
I just found this out today (like and hour ago) and I’m still processing it, but I wanted to let you know right away.
I have to cancel the June dates for the “It’s Probably Nothing” tour… except for Toronto, which is still going ahead as planned.
We aimed high with the venue sizes and unfortunately we’re only pulling 300-400 tickets in 1200-capacity rooms. The production company just called me to say they can’t cover that kind of loss (tour bus, hotels, flights, cost of huge venues), and by the time they realized we should downsize to smaller theatres (like we did in Toronto), it was already too late to make it work for June. I was transparent that I was happy to take a slight loss here in exchange for the experience. I offered to pay for lots of the marketing, hiring local talent to open the shows etc. but it wasn't enough.
Tickets for all cancelled June shows will be automatically refunded to the original method of payment.
I’m really sorry. This one hurts because I know a lot of you had plans and were looking forward to it. Many of you might have planned a trip and gotten a hotel etc. I hate letting you down and I’d rather be straight with you. Until an hour ago I thought we were good to go. I've had to call all the guests and co-hosts and let them know as well.
The good news: all August shows are still on, the contest is still running for those dates, and I can’t wait to see you there.
The cancelled June shows will hopefully be rescheduled for early 2027 in smaller, more intimate rooms so we can do them properly.
