Happy New Year to all of my subscribers/followers;
I hope that this year will improve greatly on the previous two. I, like many out there, have lost both loved ones and friends/colleagues to Covid-19. It never gets any easier. All we can do is support and care for one another with kindness and respect.
Losing people always makes one evaluate their life and what they wish to do with it. After a great deal of thought and examination of my own life, it is time for me to make a statement about the future of this channel. I’m sad to say that, with a heavy heart, I’ve made the decision to step back this year. I’ve been going for nearly 13 years and thrown so much into it, gained fans and followers, who I’m so glad to have had the chance to talk to. This year, however, I will be (hopefully) going through the final stages of buying my house – which will take up a lot of my time, once the contracts are exchanged. What with this, work and other stuff, I’ve had to make the choice of what I want to do with my future.
As much as I’ve loved my channel, I love writing so much more. I’m currently in the process of writing multiple books and screenplays and would like to give it my all in completing and potentially publishing them. Although some people may not think it, this channel does take a lot of work and time to maintain. Unfortunately, I simply don’t have the time to juggle them all. I’m not saying I’m going to be a new Russell T Davies, Steven Moffat or even an author as successful as Stephen King, but I do know that in order to do it justice – this channel has to (at least for now) be put on a back-burner.
That is not to say you won’t be getting anything at all this year. You will still be getting trailers for all 3 of Jodie’s specials and I’m hoping to do something for my anniversary in July. With the fact that Doctor Who only has the 3 specials this year and is unlikely to return until November 2023, it seems that now is an opportune moment to say goodbye – for now.
Lately I have been swamped with work, and as such my channel has been relatively quiet. Unfortunately, this is unlikely to change for some time. I will be uploading more in the future but it may be very limited.
This week marks my 12th Anniversary on YouTube - its mad to think how much my channel has evolved in that time - and I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported my channel and subscribed over the years.
As a thank you, I've decided to release a surprise audio trailer - scheduled for release tonight at 19:30 BST. I hope you all enjoy it.
Hello Subscribers. I would like to start this post by saying that I hope all of those reading this are at home and are well. As most of you will know, over the last few months I have been making trailers for each Doctor, with the Third Doctor due soon. However, unlike the first two Doctor's (where each trailer was released at the start of the month), this one has been delayed due to personal issues. Its unfortunate but I simply do not have the time to meet the February 1st deadline and I will not be uploading a rushed edit. As such, it will still be released in February but may be later in the month. I will be uploading a Release Date teaser closer to the date.
