I make documentary-style videos about '80s metal bands. This is all my own research and personal opinion. Nothing should be taken as cold, hard fact. I do as much research as possible given what's available but ultimately, this is all just to the best of my knowledge. If I've gotten something wrong, PLEASE correct me. If you love an album I didn't particularly like, maybe there's something I missed. School me back!
NOTE: All music and video rights belong to the respective owners, not me. This channel is only to promote these bands and their music and to give an overview of a few well known bands as well as some who might not get as much attention as they deserve anymore.

Hey, guys! I want to start a new thing on Shorts where I talk about YOUR metal bands from back in the day. Please read this entire post before sending.
Send an email to heavymetalhigherlearning@gmail.com with the name of YOUR high school metal/hard rock band along with the lyrics of your best song if you want. Feel free to include pictures and stories from gigs or the studio or anything like that if you have them.
Just to be absolutely clear on a couple of things... These will be YouTube shorts, so relatively quick. I'll be reading emails (likely one per short) and essentially reacting to them blind. So these won't be the typical format of my longform videos. But hopefully a fun way to showcase YOU guys and cover some smaller stories along with the bigger stuff.

Hey, metallians! Hope you guys enjoyed the Attacker episode to kick off 2026. I just wanted to say thanks to all you subscribers for sticking with me for another year of band documentaries. I'm looking forward to diving into more bands this year and your suggestions are always welcome! I don't know when it will be, but I will open it up to bands who started in the 90s at some point. I'm really wanting to do one on Kamelot, one of my all-time favorites.
