As a proud crochet/fiber artist, l encourage all my fellow artists to keep going, create something that excites you, spend some extra time picking out the perfect colors, try that new stitch, if it's not coming out the way you imagined, take it out, start over, and put that project down for a few days if you get frustrated, focus but have fun with it, talk to it lol I talk to my projects all the time (don't judge me š). What I'm trying to say is, you get back what you put in, and that's not only with crochet, it's with everything in life. I put a lot of TLC into this project (and that's on T-Box, Chili and Left Eye šļø) and seeing the completed outfit has really given me the feeling of accomplishment but more so the feeling of excitement, making something out of nothing with my own hands, seeing all these pieces come to life and then being able to put this outfit on and wear it outside... priceless! I was cuttin up at the karaoke bar in my outfit on my birthday, and I feel like my aunt who taught me to crochet back when I was about 12 years old is smiling down from heaven, so proud of me šš¾.
To all of my hookers who watched me create these pieces every day on my live, thank you so much for all of your encouragement! Hookers United STAND UP!! Thank you all so much for all the birthday love! I appreciate all of your support every single day! Until the next fit, happy crocheting!

So for my 40th birthday I decided to make myself a birthday outfit for the first time! This is a journey through my process, picking out a color palette (we'll call it this palette boho rainbow) and the yarn, making the sweater with the raglan pattern, making pants for the first time, making a bag for the first time using t-shirt yarn and making a boo shiesty (a crochet ski mask lol). It took me about a month to create all the pieces of my crochet birthday outfit, the pants took the longest to create and took a lot out of me š© but all the
frogging and re-stitching was worth it! I love everything about this outfit, I had a vision and I'm so proud of myself to taking the time out to execute that vision. I look at this entire outfit as not only crochet fashion, I look at it as art... wearable art.
