Thunderbolt 1000 Siren Productions

Welcome to Thunderbolt 1000 Siren Productions. Home of the famous documentaries of train wrecks and other noteworthy tales from the railroads.

Born and raised in the Philadelphia area with most of the trains I film coming from that area.
Documentaries are released on the upcoming anniversaries of the wrecks once a month while Engines of SEPTA episodes come out every few months, Railfan videos of the trains I catch are released randomly but are usually a week apart.

If you want to use one of my videos or start a series based off of mine then please ask permission and if you steal my videos or do not credit me for inspiring your work I will make a copyright complaint which may result in account termination.
I also do voice work and have voiced in several redubs however I accept them if I'm available.

I work 2 jobs including on the railroad so it's often hard to get time to work on videos but trust me you'll enjoy the content!

2 years gone now. And yet it still feels like yesterday. You think you get over it and find happiness again despite what you lost. You don't. It sticks forever forcing you to smile in the presence of others while you hurt inside. By chance one of our cats Sammy (pictured) would pass months later and tell you the truth some say it was a UTI that got her, I think it was a broken heart, That cat was like attatched to her and wouldn't let anyone pet her except my mom otherwise *whack* and her death was no less tragic than my mom's because pets are family. I like to think spiritually my mother's still there smiling as her son continues to break new ground in his life. At the same time though I wish she was still here. If I could describe what she was like she was strong, a DIY fixer, savage, dependable, honest, defensive of her children, generous, humerous, and an intensely private person. RIP mom, I hope to see you up there whenever it's my time to go.

An update: I am working on 2 maybe 3 videos this month however the next one will be delayed due to work and a significant emotional event that occured last week because I'm not allowed to have a peaceful life. On a more positive side the Thunderbolt sirens on UP locomotives video did exceptionally well so expect more commentary videos of that style in future including that video on defect detectors that was supposed to be out years ago. December is once again going to be a busy time of year for me outside of YT so bear with me.

Also for said videos I will be asking for youse for footage. Namely Metro North and BNSF footage (even though I have a lot of MN footage from my trip a while ago and I plan to go back in future) One is for a documentary that's been postponned in the past but I wont skip it this year and another was hinted at in the Kismet video. You'll see ;)

You should know the drill on footage submission but if not. Send it to thunderbolt1000siren@gmail.com and specify how you wish to be credited.

Hoi! So I only have a few more Train Wreck videos in planning right now however there is another video that I'd like to make in due time. It's probably the 1 video that answers the age old question of where the hell my username comes from. Sadly active Thunderbolt sirens namely 1003s are hard to come by in my area of Pennsylvania, the only active one I know is near Pittsburgh, 2 former fire dept 1003s sit dead near Lebanon with 1 being a victim of lightning, and the system of 1000s Limerick had were taken down 10 years ago and are dumped by TMI... so I'm asking for y'all siren enthusiasts especially in the Midwest to submit some of your best Thunderbolt videos for the chance to appear in this upcoming video preferably of the 1003 model but others will work fine to keep to topic. You're more than welcome to submit some UP footage too since we don't get UP that much in PA... yet (if the hostile takeover is approved). So go ahead and send away. Looking forward to getting this project in motion in due time! Please E-mail all footage to thunderbolt1000siren@gmail.com and specify how you wish to be credited.

This special is coming out hopefully tomorrow. Boy it's been one of the most difficult to edit, mainly due to the simulation software being more troublesome than a worn out Budd RDC with my PC just as tired as one XD

I know I'm late to the party but I was recently informed on the passing of Ross Rowland. A very famous name in steam preservation. I pass on my condolences to his family (who I had the pleasure of meeting some of em) as well as the many people he was close with. I first met him in person upon my days working at the New Hope Railroad, quite an interesting fellow and one hell of an engineer on NHRR's lone steam locomotive 40. By chance I believe it was one of his great granddaughters (couldn't remember exactly) came to visit and I had the honor of taking their photo with Ross in 40's cab. I wish I remembered what I did with that photo as this was back in 2021/2022. I know many will be sad to think he wont be around to see his prized 614 operational but spiritually I know he'll be there. May all your signals on your ride up above be green... Green for glory. 1940 - 2025
