I turned 40 in Hong Kong this week.

It's been a pretty full-on couple of weeks with family, filming, and a lot happening behind the scenes. I decided to put the camera down for a little while and just live in the moment.

Now I'm back in Koh Samui, filming again, and the next video is on the way.

Hey everyone,
A lot of you keep asking me the same questions:
“How do you travel full time?”
“How do you make money while traveling?”
“Can you teach me how to do it?”
I don’t usually make posts or videos about this… because the real answer isn’t what most people want to hear.
Let’s be honest...
Most of those “travel and make money” courses and influencers you see? A huge chunk of it is straight-up BS. You don’t know their backstory, who funded them, or who got lucky with the genetic lottery.
Here’s my reality:
I barely survive out here. I work harder and longer hours than most people reading this. Last year alone I put out over 200 long-form videos across 3 channels (not counting Shorts), while running a website and uploading stock footage.
This didn’t happen overnight.
It took years and years of hard work, multiple degrees, serious skills in video, audience engineering, graphic design, editing, and a ton of other things. I also burned through a lot of my own savings to make it possible.
So if you’re looking for an easy “passive income while sipping cocktails in Bali” fantasy… this probably isn’t for you.
But if you want the real talk — the actual grind, the real numbers, and what it actually takes — let me know.

A lot of people assume that moving overseas means living some kind of luxury lifestyle. The reality is a bit different.

I've been living in Hanoi for the last few months, and this is what my average monthly budget looks like as a single person. No sugar-coating. No "digital nomad influencer" fantasy. Just my real costs.

Rent is my biggest expense at A$632 per month, followed by food at around A$400. I also budget for transport, utilities, my phone, and around A$200 for socialising and entertainment.

My total monthly spend comes to roughly A$1,402 per month. Thats. US$968
or €840/

Could I live cheaper? Absolutely. Many locals and expats do. I choose to rent a modern apartment in Tây Hồ, eat out regularly, and enjoy a few beers each week.

For me, the biggest benefit isn't just the lower cost of living. It's the freedom, flexibility, and quality of life that comes with it.

I originally came to Asia to film a documentary about martial arts. What started as a simple idea slowly turned into one of the biggest journeys of my life.

From training in Okinawa, to Muay Thai camps in Thailand, to meeting people across Vietnam and beyond, it became about a lot more than just fighting styles. Discipline. Identity. Purpose. The people you meet along the way. The reasons people train in the first place.

Soon this chapter will be coming to an end. I will be flying to Hong Kong in July to learn about how Kung Fu was made big into cinema by two legends, and then finish my trip with a trip back to Thailand for a bit... After this also means the real challenge begins... editing the documentary together 😅

But once it’s finished, I honestly don’t know where the next adventure takes me.

So I’m curious. What part of the world would you like to see explored next?

Cambodia & Laos?
South America?
Eastern Europe?
Kazakhstan & Central Asia?

Or somewhere completely different?

I think the channel has slowly become less about “tourism” and more about experiencing places properly, meeting people, and understanding how they actually live. So wherever comes next, I want it to feel real.

Sometimes I make videos purely for fun and for myself.

Lately my entire feed has been flooded with “make money online” gurus promising financial freedom, passive income, AI side hustles, luxury lifestyles, and becoming rich in 30 days… and honestly, it started driving me insane 😂

So I decided to make a satire about the whole world.

Partly to laugh at it.
Partly because I think a lot of people genuinely fall into these scams when they’re just trying to improve their life.
