PUUSTER - Boosting Research in Timber Construction

"Puuster" is a research project led by Tallinn University of Technology, University of Tartu, and the Estonian Academy of Arts, together with leading wood industry partners. Our mission is to rethink how wood is used in construction by turning underutilised resources—such as bark beetle–damaged wood, industrial by-products, and forest residues—into innovative, sustainable building solutions. “PUUSTER” TEM-TA80 is co-financed by the European Union and the Estonian Research Council.
