Fly Fishing ,an credible and fascinating sport or some people adapt is as a way of life was started by British in Kashmir in 1800s .Fish were bought from Europe and stocked here in Kashmir .Though not much popular among Kashmiris ,some enthusiastic and passionate sportsmen do practice it , and sometimes people from other countries do come to fish in paradise streams .

This is Upper Chrinbal Kulgam Kashmir .A small piece of a vast paradise comprising the whole Pir Panjal Range .There are dozens of valleys in the range ,Rivers , Pristine Peaks ,Mystic Alpine Peaks,Wildlife Sanctuaries, Passes ,rich Flora and Fauna ,Elusive Markhor ,Lepords Brown and Black Bear ,Minks ,Pikas ,Martins ..and it continues.
Fortunate enough to live just in the lap of This Mighty Range .

This is Traditional Kashmiri Architecture Called "TAQ" . Centuries old indigenous earthquake resistant architecture.Another style is called "DAJJ DEWARI " .These structures have withstood earthquakes of magnitude more than 8 like in 1885 and 2005 .
✅And the roof has a special open path underneath.That cancells out the bernoullis effect in high speed winds preventing the roof to fly away .
