Grateful and proud to share that I secured 1st position in the Club Level International Speech Contest and 2nd position in Table Topics.
This achievement means a lot to me because it reflects something deeper than just a result â hard work and consistency. Every practice session, every attempt to improve, and every moment of stepping out of my comfort zone slowly added up.
Public speaking is a journey, and this milestone reminds me that consistent effort always brings progress.

For the longest time, I thought confidence was something you were âborn with.â
I wasnât. I was shy, hesitant, even afraid to look people in the eye.
I told myselfââOnce I succeed, Iâll feel confident.â
But reality was the opposite: I had to practice confidence first before success came.
đ Small steps helped:
⢠Speaking up once in class.
⢠Asking one question in a meeting.
⢠Recording short videos even when my voice shook.
Each small act built a little confidence brick by brick.
Later, those small bricks built the foundation for bigger thingsâaddressing workshops, becoming IELTS certified, speaking at TEDx, and training corporate professionals.
⨠Lesson: Confidence isnât about being fearless. Itâs about acting despite the fear.
And it grows with every small action you take.
If I could move from being bullied for silence to standing confidently on stage, trust meâyou can too.
