When you told me the starts are not beyond the sky
It’s in your eyes that I see
I didn’t took you seriously
Now when I look at the sky alone in the night
I see nothing but an empty space
Where cold and darkness spread its air
Making me remember my beloved
So I stopped counting stars in the empty space
And I began counting my heart beat
As it raised in the cold to keep my body warm
Shielding me the pain of darkness
Making me remind the love I was searching
Was always inside me.
