The two trailer characters are just skins for a swordsman type, but I'm working on a mage zoner now and plan to add a grappler next. Which of these archetypes do you usually prefer to play?
I've just been winging my game animation this whole time. It doesnt look great, so I decided to spend some time to go back and learn things more thoroughly. This exercise didnt come out perfectly and I got a little lazy at the end, but it took forever so I need to show someone.
I started working on Gabimaru when the poll was tied. Zoro is now ahead by a few votes so I'm just gonna try making both! This is to prepare to upgrade my character model again, this time with legs.
I've also been spending a lot of time learning about environment art for the Acerola jam. Not sure I'll end up submitting anything since I haven't focused on gameplay at all, but I'll definitely be porting new visual stuff over to project shikai afterwards.
I'm planning to recreate some anime characters to upgrade my modeling skills. Preferably someone who uses a sword. I'd like to recreate one male and one female model for a video. Lmk if you have ideas for other characters that'd be interesting, but I'm leaning towards one of these for the male model...
I'd appreciate a follow if you wanna come vibe, tell me my code sucks, get my live feedback/reactions on your own projects, stuff like that!
I'll mainly be working on my own game, but I'm also interested in movement games, fighting games, 3D modeling and animation generally, vtuber tech, devlog tech, youtubing, and chatting with other devs, youtubers, and indie game enjoyers.
I may start using this vtubing model in devlogs too. I covered the mouth for now because there's some more work I need to do to get the mouth animated... It took me like a day and a half to model and figure out a vtubing set up for streaming.
