I've loved video games as long as I can remember.
This channel is somewhere you should come to find some great Indie games as I love shining light on the gems of the ever-growing indie industry. Therefore, I primarily only cover titles that I genuinely enjoy playing and would feel safe recommending. I also enjoy creating "video essays" specifically on Nintendo games and or the industry as a whole. You'll find a bit of everything here, but my favorite genres include platformers, metroidvanias, action games, and run n guns.

Which of these would you consider to be the best platformer?
From a personal standpoint, I think these are the best 2D platformers of all time (at least from what I've played).
This also does not include more action-oriented games like Castlevania/Megaman

Unfortunately my personal laptop abruptly broke, so I'm not able to do the editing that I need to. That being said, I've been able to work on plenty of scripts as I have some games I'd love to share and some topics I've been wanting to cover!
As this relates to something I'm working on, what Indie-Game do you think has been the most revolutionary/inspiring for modern gaming? For example, Hollow Knight has inspired many metroidvania's that play similar to it. And no, I'm not including that in this poll.
