I have always been a car nut, and since 1994 when I passed my test I have owned over 100 cars.
Growing up we used to travel to Germany a lot by car, and the first time we ever flew I was terrified. I never really lost that feeling well into my 20s, but then I got a job which included travel to places like the USA, where I had no option but to fly.
Over time I earned enough frequent flyer points to start booking premium cabins, and with that I started to enjoy the experience, not only of flying, but the lead up to it.
I’m not totally over my fear, but along with cars and travel, I wanted to share my experiences with everyone else.

The bad injector is back off the Golf GTi and sent back for a full refund.
A replacement full tested injector is on order so I hope to finally have the car running next week. 🤞

Back from sunny Spain, and have some channel updates.
Firstly, the Alpina has gone…. But you will still be able to see it on the @Autoalexv2 channel soon.
I have also bought another project car. It’s done a lot of miles, but hoping it takes me back to my youth as I had a similar one over 20 years ago.

Sorry for no updates on the non-running E90 330i. I decided to cut my losses and sell it on rather than spend another £150+ on having a DME cloned when it was an unknown.
On the plus side…. I have more space again.

This is as far as I got with the P11-144 that is sacrificing it’s brakes and part of the floor pan for my P11 GT.
I was out of action for a week (sick) and the weather has been appalling since…. I only have to look at my tool box and it starts to rain.
BUT!! I will get to it soon… and having driven this one a bit before the MOT expired I’m thinking of getting another as a daily/local runabout.
