During the month of March, my Scripture Writing theme will be, "The Way of the Cross." February 18 is the beginning of lent, a 40-day season where believers focus on preparing for the celebration of Jesus' Resurrection. This makes March the perfect time to meditate on the cross and all that Christ Jesus has done for us so that we might have salvation.
I welcome all who would like to join me in writing out these verses.

Thought I would share my Facebook post from yesterday....
Colossians 1:17 tells us:
He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
How wonderful to know that in a world where we often feel like everything is coming apart, this Scripture assures us that Christ is holding all things together. He is holding me together in my frailties, and he’s holding you together, too. We don’t have to struggle or worry. If the Lord can grow a flower in the depths of the snow, then he can create something beautiful in you and me, despite our circumstances.
Thank you, Jesus, for your goodness and for holding it all together. Thank you for having a meaningful plan for our lives. We love you and give you praise.

What is Joy?
Jesus
Over
You
When you give yourself to Jesus and allow him to take control of your life, you will have joy. Joy is found when we let go. Joy comes when we recognize that no matter what is going on around us, Jesus is over us. He's our shield. He's our fortress. He's our Shepherd, day and night.
Challenges will come. Heartaches. Pain. Fear. Uncertainty.
But Jesus is Over You.
"The Lord your God is with you, a Powerful One Who wins the battle.
He will have much joy over you.
With His love He will give you new life.
He will have joy over you with loud singing."
Zephaniah 3: 17
In this, we can have joy — not because life is easy — but because Jesus is Lord.

Merry Christmas, Homespun Friends!
I pray all of you are enjoying a wonderful day of peace, love, and great joy, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus.
I have not been able to film many videos this month and I have missed you all.
We had to postpone our family Christmas gathering because of various members who are facing health issues, including several grandchildren with the flu. Vince and I have also been under the weather but we are on the mend.
One day, maybe I will share more about what a wild December we've had. We have been reminded that much of life is unpredictable. But one thing is for certain: Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen!
There is so much I'm looking forward to, including a possible family gathering at my house for New Year's (Eve or Day, we aren't sure)...where we will most definitely be playing bingo and opening presents we have been holding onto until everyone is well.
Another thing I'm wanting to do is film a video where I share some beautiful cards and gifts you all sent me for Christmas. Thanks to everyone who thought of me!
Wherever you are and whatever you are doing today, may the Lord's abundant blessings surround you!
