Do any of you remember these days?
Here I am on Resurrection Sunday, 1967. I believe this photo was taken at my maternal grandmother's house. As I mentioned in the video, each Easter we had all new things to wear, which was a tradition that alluded to Jesus' death and resurrection bringing new life to all mankind.
I love the cute white gloves and wish they would come back into style!
And of course, every lady (even little ones) wore corsages for special times.

During the month of April, I will be writing out verses that deal with self control. Self control is a discipline given by the Holy Spirit that allows believers to resist sinful behaviors. I hope that many of you will join me next month, as we focus on living a life that honors God through self control.
