Harumi’s backstory
She was born into the Kibutsuji family as a half-demon half-human because her mother was human and her father, Muzan, is a demon. Muzan always ignored Harumi because he thought she was a freak for being a hybrid. Her older brother, Hideo Kibutsuji was very physically abusive. The only person she was really close to was her mother, Reika Kibutsuji, who was kind to her and treated her like a human and even gave her a hairpin. When she was 4 it all changed when Muzan killed her mother and Harumi ran away from her home and broke free from Muzan’s curse. 14 years later, after being mistreated by demon slayers and people who know about demons and demon slayers, she lives a kind of peaceful life in a cabin in the woods alone but with a numbness from all the trauma.
