Double Trouble Darts
Well ladies and gentlemen, Luke Littler has won back to back world titles and to be honest, it was never in doubt.
Luke was amazing all tournament, averaging over a ton all tournament, finishing with 73x 180’s and winning the Balon D’Art award for the 2nd year in a row. He is now the 4th player ever to win Back to Back world titles and remains the youngest player ever to win the title. He also became the 4th player ever to reach 3 consecutive World championship finals.
What an amazing World Championship to watch as neutrals. non seeded players like Justin Hood, David Munyua, Charlie Manby, Sakai etc all causing major upsets in the tournament. Back to Back World Youth Champion Gian Van Veen also had an excellent tournament reaching his first ever world championship final at such a young age, sadly for him he didn’t do well enough on his doubling in the final and got steamrolled by Luke 7-1 in sets.
Massive Well Done to The PDC and Paddypower who did the Bigger180 campaign in support of Prostate Cancer, for every 180 hit in the tournament, £1000 would be raised for the charity. Last year we saw 918x 180’s in the tournament but this year we smashed that. 1127x 180’s meaning à staggering £1,127,000 was raised for Prostate Cancer. Amazing 👏
Sadly the PDC MC (Master of ceremonies) John McDonald and Referee George Noble retired at the end of the tournament marking the end of an era. Good luck to both of them and the hard work they have both put in over the years will never be forgotten. Gonna be strange watching the darts and not seeing them on the stage.
As a channel, we have done very well this tournament and the channel is slowly growing, we did 11 streams throughout the tournament, finishing with 17,584 views and gaining an extra 13 subscribers taking our subscriber count to 782, The support we have received throughout has been phenomenal and we thank you all for the continued support and hope you have enjoyed our coverage of the 2026 World Darts Championship
