Friday was MOT crunch time for the 2003 Rover 25 CVT - and it's a pass!
She's back on the road for another year after the post-cat Lambda Sensor was replaced last month (the video is well worth a watch if you haven't seen it already).

For those outside of the UK, an MOT is an annual inspection most cars have to go through - giving the car a thorough check including suspension, tyres, brakes, overall condition (including corrosion etc) and emissions. They can be a bit of a nightmare for older vehicles, but with some TLC it's possible to keep older cars like this on our roads.

It's crunch time: over the next few days I'll be attempting to cover 350 miles in the freshly repaired ZR.
We're heading to Berry Shiny Detailing in Fareham, Discount MG Rover Spares in Hythe and finally Heathrow Airport on Sunday. Will she make it?
Answers on a postcard!

Really excited to see what magic can be done with the bodywork - Berry Shiny are absolutely fantastic at bringing dull paintwork back to life. I'll be doing a quick interview with the owner (Jack) too.

I put it to the community: if I do need to change the engine in the ZR 105+, what should I replace it with?

It’s no secret a huge part of my life is cars - but it’s not really about the things with 4 wheels; it’s about the people you meet along the way.

A huge part of my friendship circle is based on our mutual love of cars, but the best part of the hobby is that it brings you into contact with people that are truly on your wavelength.

Exhibit A - a fantastic picture of a dear friend and I about to be rinsed by a Tesla approaching us on the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
Do we care? No. Were we having a great time? You bet, and this holiday has been absolutely fantastic.
The E46 M3 might be new to me, but it’s been a capable track tool well worth the outlay so far.

Keep an eye out for the full summary video landing in late August / early September!

First lap of the ‘Ring in the M3 done!
A bit of work to firm it up and deal with the brakes needed, but she did well - treated her to a ‘Live Laugh Love’ keyring to celebrate.
Quite enjoying that metallic S54 intake roar, but can’t help but think a bit more would be nice… 👀

A big, warm Northern welcome to my subscribers!
Thank you for your support so far - I'm going to keep up the momentum and have a few interesting videos in mind over the coming weeks and months.
I'll be kicking things off with a couple of car-themed shorts based around my current trip to the Nürburgring - when I return to the UK I'll also upload a long-format video of the highlights along with a few tech deep-dives for good measure.

Thanks again, and feedback is always welcome!
